Dear Journal, / I am overjoyed to have internet at home. I can do so much now that there is a computer in the house. I’m studying Algebra and French 1. I have to do an alternate Exam 4 in French 1. I have to do an alternate Exam 4 in French, I have to read “Wuthering Heights” by: Emily Bronte for English Literature, and after that, as long as I don’t get any more partial grades on exams, my remaining three subjects will arrive: Computer Studies, Geometry, and French 2. I’m progressing rather well. Later…there’s not much on my mind right now…Well, we finally internet. I can get a lot of my writing goals complete, possibly get several writing jobs. I want to get an e-book, or several of them, published. I’m writing two books currently: “Blite Sorceress Liah” and “Shrin and Saiani.” Anyone wanting information about my books and specific thoughts of what they are about…just message me, or email me at angelasephiro@parismail.zzn.com. I appreciate all of my fan’t support, and Iwill try to keep you satisfied with my stories and poetry. I love you all! Later…

  • The Birth of the Island / Sunset Ka’anapali Maui Hawai’i “At the northernmost corner of the Polynesian triangle, the Hawaiian Islands stand as a sentry for a collection of atolls, volcanic remnants, coral blocks and large islands that punctuate the region stretching to Aotearoa (New Zealand) in the south and Rapa Nui (Easter Island) in the east. Hawai`i is the newest landmass in Polynesia and the most isolated settled area on the globe, rife with unique ecosystems. Maui, sitting in the middle of the main Hawaiian island chain, is a geological youngster. Haleakala, still volcanically active in the 18th century, rises higher than 10,000 feet on the eastern end of the island. The older and more eroded West Maui Mountains are 1.3 million years old. The tallest point at Pu`u Kukui – 5,788 feet – is one of the rainiest spots on earth. Ka`anapali sits in the leeward side of these mountains, on the slopes facing Lana`i and Moloka`i.” Information Source: http://www.kaanapalicoffeefarms.com/kaanapali/history-beginings.html

  • Beautiful Pa’ako Beach, Makena Cove near Alanui Road Makena Maui Hawai’i. Copyright © Sharon Mau 2009 / All Rights Reserved This is a part of the last pristine and very beautiful undeveloped coastline on Maui. Please help us preserve and protect Makena. The magnificent Humpback Whales frequent this area during winter months on their annual migration from Alaska to Hawaiian waters for calving and breeding and come quite close to shore during season. The beautiful and sacred Honu, sea turtles may be seen feeding in the early morning light. The beautiful and secluded Po’olenalena Beach is nearby as well. There are many names to describe this beautiful secluded beach east of Makena on Alanui Road bordered by lava rocks and palm trees. You may notice Oneloa, also well known as Big Beach, in the distance. The hill is called Pu’u Olai, a red cinder cone 360 feet high. The wave action is extraordinary and the golden sand is deep and luxurious. There is a large tide pool on the right of the beach which is wonderful for swimming. A favourite among the locals for fishing and enjoyed by many families with children, scuba divers and snorkelers, there are wonderful views of Molokini and Kaho`olawe Island. This is one of the most popular beaches on Maui for small weddings. ~ Aloha e Malama pono, Sharon Mau Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi / Shooting Date/Time 28 June 2008 19:18:52 / Tv( Shutter Speed ) 1/1600 / Av( Aperture Value ) 6.3 / ISO Speed 200 / Lens EF28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM

  • The magnificent male Indian Blue Peacock has a long train of beautiful feathers, with eye spots, brown, yellow and green with black center, brilliant blue feathers on the body, green iridescent plumage and beautiful yellows, and grey feet. The male (peacock) Indian Peafowl has beautiful iridescent blue-green or green coloured plumage. The so-called “tail” of the peacock, also termed the “train”, is not the tail quill feathers but highly elongated upper tail coverts. The train feathers have a series of eyes that are best seen when the tail is fanned. She was originally named Lydia Liliu Loloku Walania Wewehi Kamaka’eha, Lydia Liliuokalani Paki, and also known as Lydia Kamakaʻeha Paki, with the chosen royal name of Liliʻuokalani. Queen Liliʻuokalani was an accomplished author and songwriter. Her book, Hawaiʻi’s Story by Hawaiʻi’s Queen, gave her view of the history of her country and her overthrow and therefore became the first Native Hawaiian female author. Liliʻuokalani was known for her musical talent. Lili’u is said to have played guitar, piano, organ, ‘ukulele and zither. She also sang alto, performing Hawaiian and English sacred and secular music. She would find herself in music. In her memoirs she wrote: “to compose was as natural to me as to breathe. This gift remains a source of the greatest consolation.” She wrote over 165 songs and chants. Some of her best-known musical compositions include the song, “Aloha ʻOe”, “The Queen’s Jubilee”, “He Mele Lahui Hawai’i”, and “Ku’u Pua I Paoakalani” ~ Source: Wikipedia

  • Private Movie Zone is separate rooms of different amount of people showing the movie you desire. Using real bowls and cups for the drinks, popcorn and quick snacks to enhance the ‘home’ feeling for the purpose of making it more private. Black and white are the only desired colors used to show a better ‘classy’ feeling and neatness.

  • This is my graduation project, and i chose to do a corporate identity on a Kindergarten & Childcare Center. Kindercare is for children from the age of 3 to 6 years old. It offers bus rides at 6 am, 12 pm, 6 pm, and 12 am to pick up and/or drop off your children. It is open day and night, 7 days a week. Kindercare has a main activity room, classrooms, nap rooms and a backyard. It celebrates special occasions such as Birthdays, early Christmas, Halloween, Mardi Gras, Easter etc. The children will have the possibility of drawing on the nap room’s wall, leaving their handprint on the main activity wall and putting up their work in the classrooms. Once a week, Kindercare has a special day like “bring your pets day”, “costume day”, “bring a cake day” etc. During you child’s stay they would be able to communicate with other children, have fun, learn and study while they are fully looked after. The target audience is for parents who have kids from the age of 3 to 6 year old with a middle class income; something affordable but the price varies on where the child lives, if a bus ride is needed, if the child stays day or night time, how many hours, attends classes and if he eats there or not… The prices are about: / RM10/hour childcare daytime, RM15/hour childcare nighttime, RM25/hour kindergarten, RM10/day bus daytime, RM15/day bus nighttime, RM5/day food, RM50 registration fee. For my project, I chose blue and red as my main colors because they are the most common for that group age of children. I wanted to do a project with kids because I have never done that before in my two years and I though it would be challenging as a final project. I therefore used kids main illustrations, shapes, objects and colors.

Spectacle of mesmerizing movements flashing in the mind, / melting pots of humans, secrets hard to find, love all embracing whispers on the wind, no physical presence, ecstasy from a light dimmed. Gifts of joy enmeshed in music and dance, visualizing images filtering in a trance, warriors in a drumbeat at journeys end, back to the womb of creation enmeshed in a substance blend. • ‘Ilio holo i kauaua ~ Hawaiian Translation: Dog That Runs in Rough Water / Hawaiian Monk Seal © 2009 Sharon Anne Mau Marine Conservation Biology Institute A beautiful sleeping Hawaiian Monk Seal basking in the sun on Ho’okipa / Maui Hawai’i Monachus schauinslandi / Pinniped Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XTi / 22.April 2008 1:16:10 PM / Tv( Shutter Speed ) 1/320 / Av( Aperture Value ) 9.0 / ISO Speed 400 “An adult monk seal is usually dark grey or brown with a light grey or yellow belly. Adults can be up to 7 feet and weigh anywhere from 396 to 595 pounds; adult females are generally larger than males. Pups usually weigh 24 to 33 pounds at birth and weigh up to 132 to 198 pounds within five to six weeks. The monk seal’s common name is derived from its folds of skin that look like a monk’s hood, and because it spends most of its time alone or in very small groups. Most Hawaiian Monk Seals live in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands – Kure Atoll, Midway Atoll, Pearl and Hermes Reef, Lisianski Island, Laysan Island, French Frigate Shoals, Gardner Pinnacles, Necker Island, and Nihoa Island. These atolls and islands are very remote and are either uninhabited or have little impact by humans, thus providing an ideal habitat for these easily disturbed creatures. The coral reefs found around these atolls and islands provide the monk seal with its food supply: spiny lobsters, octopuses, eels, and various reef fishes. Their enemies include humans, sharks, diseases, attacks from their own species, and marine debris such as lost fishing nets and plastic products. They spend most of their time in the ocean but like to rest on sandy beaches, and sometimes use beach vegetation as shelter from wind and rain. Monk seals are expert swimmers and divers; one seal was recorded diving into depths in the range of 66 and 96 fathoms (396 to 576 feet). The average monk seal dives 51.2 times per day. The life span of the Hawaiian Monk Seal is from 25-30 years. The Hawaiian Monk Seal recovery efforts are overseen by the National Marine Fisheries Service, in cooperation with other government and private organizations and universities. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service manages many remote islands as National Wildlife Refuges to protect their habitat. The Hawaiian Monk Seal was listed as an endangered species in 1976 under the Federal Endangered Species Act. Critical habitat was designated in 1988 from beaches to a depth of 20 fathoms (120 feet) around the northwestern Hawaiian islands.” Save Our Seals Hawaiian Monk Seal Information Source This photograph cannot be modified for commercial or advertising use, nor can it be copied or reproduced in any form without the photographer’s permission. Simply put, # 1 I am here to sell my artwork.I have been doing art for a very long time, over 20 years. All this time I havent tried to sell my work, its been sitting up returning nohing for me but the occasional view and given me the comfort knowing that someday that I would Show it to the world. My time has come, its time has come. / #2 I am also here to learn from others and to offer what I have as a trade-off. By the looks of this site there are few who could learn from me but I am here just in case. Who am I ? Nobody special, just another soul trying to find some meaning in life. I,m 48, white male,a little overweight and always on a diet.I like to fish in the Gulf-I do that alot when I can.I love music, it inspires me and enables me to flow with the colors.I,m a tile setter by trade-hard work but I like it.I do art as the mood strikes, which most often happens in the colder months of the year when its not comfortable outside.Im single now and perhaps looking but no rush.Probally half crazy considering the look of my art. I justify the look because there is a message inside but some of my work looks crazy in retrospect-at times.Somebody has got to do it so Im doing it. On and on ,nothing but words-there are too many words and not enough realness in life.Thats enough realness/ words for now.Glad to be here!
