  • Took a different approach for the photoshpcreative07 competition and decided to reverse the concept. Here a lone survivor condemned to a future of infinite chaos manages to escape back into a alternate past of infinite possibility. This could be a physical escape or projected from within the travellers mind; an internal escape to fantasy, much like the ending of Brazil. Have since sold the image for use on the cover of the Griffith Review – yay.

  • Infinite future chaos – “whats that?” i here you say, / its the way we shape our future by how we live today, / the way we live our lives has a knock on effect, / we should give this world of ours some love and respect. Freak weather, wars, global warming, hurricanes and nature dying, / destruction, rainforests dissapearing, children starving, children crying, / riots, warfare, guns, chemical waste, nuclear bombs and anarchy, / extinction of animals, genetics, clones, who is it down to, powers that be?. Just think of our children, how will they survive, what will they see?, / lets all make changes so they can be happy and free, / who knows what the future holds but its down to me and you, / im just thankful i wont be around and bet that you are too.

  • breathe, keep breathing.

  • My entry for the next competition “Photoshop Creative Challenge” Entry for CONTROVERSY CHALLENGE RPA.

  • My version im going to submit, any critism to improve it please please say now :) This shows my sight of what i think the chaos of the future may hold, Global Warming, may force us to involve, and the sucking of the bubble representing the only clean air signifying pollution problems :P

  • Creative / I created this image to remind us of the consequences of our actions if we continue to take our precious environment for granted. The location chosen is Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, a city free from catastrophic disaster. That is until Mother Nature turns back on us. We can keep running from what we have done but this is infinite future chaos! Thanks to Rikki & Jess for being models. You can see the before and after shots here Technical / The background was shot in 3 sections and stitched together in Photoshop CS3. Various parts from extra shots were used i.e. The Seven sign and text from another shot I took. I also cloned out people and objects as well as added elements to create this scene. The background, clouds, Rikki and Jess were shot separately on an old but trusty Canon 10D in RAW mode. Other images were sourced online and manipulated beyond original recognition. Once I had all the elements I needed I composited it all together in Photoshop CS3. I had to create some elements such as texture, debris, snapped cables and smoke from scratch using the good old airbrush and pen tools with various brushes all made easier with a A4 Wacom tablet but found that the mouse was sometimes better for other tasks. A lot of masking, deep etching, cloning, dodging and burning went into making this image what it is. Once complete I colour graded it to give it a real sense of drama and darkness.

  • Looking south to Wollongong from Garie Cliffs in Royal National Park. Royal lies sandwiched between Wollongong and Sydney. Because of the light from both cities this shot of the Milky Way has but a fraction of the actual stars visible and less than 1% of this would be visible within the cities. / Makes for a pretty picture but where does wonder go when the light blocks out the stars? The night sky is the only time we ever get to see the infinite. What happens to us when we lose that? / Tv 30s / Av f3.5 / ISO 3200 / FL 10mm

  • “Beauty itself is but the sensible image of the Infinite.” / Francis Bacon

  • Life is one big road…with endless pathways, infinite at first sight.

  • The image has been created as an alternative to the popular and greatly exaggerated theory of global warming and its consequences. Since global warming activists predict a dramatic change of the planet’s surface in the nearest future, the Ice Age Premonition portrays our society in the new Ice Age. / Ice Age – A cold period marked by episodes of extensive glaciations alternating with episodes of relative warmth. Any geologic period during which thick ice sheets cover vast areas of land. Such periods of large-scale glaciations may last several million years and drastically reshape surface features of entire continents. A number of major ice ages have occurred throughout the Earth’s history; the most recent periods were during the Pleistocene Epoch. There have been at least four major ice ages in the Earth’s past. The last glacial period ended about ten thousand years ago. / Surrealism art prints / Digital art prints / Fantasy digital art wallpapers

  • My very first layers with photoshop…just my first steps but many things to come…I hope…I took a photo of a personnage created for le Jardin Botanique de Montreal. The dancer was over the water and the shot was taken at night,I cut all the black and add some texture.I’ve duplicated the dancer and did a mirror illusion so the arms would cross like the 8 of infinity. The lights inside the paper statue were magic!! / This would make a great card for celebrating friendship… / / /

  • How would time appear if we really could see it….. / How would it fly? / Would it dance and twist and turn and taunt us? / Would it look back over its shoulder and laugh in our silly three dimensional faces as we screamed for it to stop? / Or would Time just point one way, while it disappeared in another, / Whispering “I’ll be back next time around?” / Would its blatant disregard or outrageous potential, be even noticed by our linear minds, / As it went on its way, / Radiating outwards / In every direction from / This moment, / Infinitely…...

  • FROM WIKIPEDIA / The Andromeda Galaxy is a spiral galaxy approximately 2.5 million light-years away4 in the constellation Andromeda. It is the nearest spiral galaxy to our own, the Milky Way. As it is visible as a faint smudge on a moonless night, it is one of the farthest objects visible to the naked eye, and can be seen even from urban areas with binoculars. It is named after the princess Andromeda in Greek mythology.

  • I have so much other work I should be doing :S

The sight was just perfect to reflect the trees the moment I took this photo.
