The making of that image is so simple, with Picasa I put the two pics together, one of a macro shot of bark without cropping and a portrait of my boyfriend listenning to his friends sitting at the patio table.I darked arround a little and that’s it.I didn’t have to do ajustment for the eye and the ear,it’s like the two pics were meant to fit together… :))) / I sold a matted print on the 29 th of november 08 to an unknown bubbler and that image was edited in the book “Gaïa the living planet” Same processing as Torn / When I did that image I thought about how menkind should be more united with the earth ,to feel renewed by the the contact of nature to become a better individuaL,TO BECOME A FREE THINKER.As long as we are trying to control the earth nothing good will come out of it,I often thought that we should be more like trees who are the lungs of our beautiful planet. / My friend C.C Arshagra wrote a wonderful poem inspired by this image,C.C realy understood what I felt when I named that piece. / That poem is called The Free Thinker would.. /
This painting was inspired by my Spirit Guides like all my paintings. It may stir the viewer to see what needs to be thrown away or torn down and whatever remains can provide us with an opportunity to recreate ourselves. There are many doors we walk through in our lives and this painting reminds us to close the door behind. Freeing us to do more things, which may help us to understand our choices and visions. Grounding us without unbalancing our personalities, helping us to awaken a Spiritual understanding, which can help to transform our fears and accept our paths, whatever they may be.
This picture was taken on a golf place,it’s on a top of a mountain, very impressive to walk over there. That’s the reason for the sharp line.I put a crescent of a moon and add a little bit of blue…et voilà. We can feel alone but being part of nature is the key for happiness , an invidual renewed by all the beautiful thinks arround us . / / /
“DARE TO BE DIFFERENT” makes the perfect gift for the independent individual in your life. Could that be you? The image features a photograph of a real White Raven (also known as a “Spirit Raven” by local Haida people) born in May, 2008 on Vancouver Island, B.C., Canada. He is one of two rare white and 3 black Ravens born to 2 accepting (black) parents. The two rare birds are not albino which is what makes them so unusual. Their eyes are quite blue. All 5 siblings are getting along extremely well and all are thriving. White Ravens are very rare and hold sacred meaning for many groups and cultures throughout the World, including Native American Indian, Celtic, Norse and Wiccans. This artwork is another tribute to these remarkably intelligent and friendly birds. 50% proceeds from all sales go to the Mountainaire Avian Society in the beautiful Comox Valley on Vancouver Island.
Self Portrait. / it’s hard to explain why i made this because the story is complicated, but to make a short story long, it resembles those who dare to be different.
Even nuns crave the simple pleasure of icecream… and there is a rebel amoung them with a calyppo! I drew this after seeing a group of nuns buying icecream (and yes, one bought a calyppo) when i was on holiday in Queensland. There was something absolutely adorable about teh idea, and I simply HAD to get it down!

You may be just like everyone else, but with the right treatment… (Pentax K10D + Tamron 90mm f2.8 Macro) (oh, and it’s the low stone wall of church with a spiky metal ‘railing’ laid on top of it, which I’m guessing is intended to discourage pigeons from hanging around the area.)
The only important path you make is the path you make in this life.

I have enjoyed your responses to my projective abstracts. I photograph trees when I see several images in the bark that set the stage for many stories inherent in the abundant imagery of nature. As I have often said, nothing can compete with the beauty of nature or give us the myriad of imagery and the variety of texture that we can perceive within rocks, plants, flowers and the bark of trees. The key is to see the stories told in trees of all ages. I can see many images in this bark abstract including a large gray poodle at the top of the photograph, a large white duck in the right upper corner and a dark alien figure with a vibrant orange eye to mention a few. Although these images are disparate, there is a story to be told by the various characters and icons. Like the Rorschach, there are no right or wrong answers and what makes these nature abstracts most interesting is how you the viewer perceive the stories told. I look forward to your perceptions of this highly illustrated tree. My abstract photographs are best viewed in the larger format to see the plethora of imagery. I am wondering why the dark man on the far left who appears to be wearing a chef’s hat is leaving the scene? Is there danger threatening those who live in this unusual landscape?

Yeah… Not much to talk about here… EXCEPT! It was a joint effort between Ms. Imogene Munday and myself (I don’t like the term ‘collaboration,’ for some very strange, individualistic reason). Imogene did the ‘post-processing,’ and the flower’s are from my front garden.
