The only important path you make is the path you make in this life.
Just trying new things sometimes gives something realy surprising…..experimenting is so much fun, you’ll never know what you’re gone get…. :)) / The making of that image is so simple, with Picasa I put the two pics together, one of a macro shot of bark without cropping and a portrait of my boyfriend listenning to his friends sitting at the patio table.I darked arround a little and that’s it.I didn’t have to do ajustment for the eye and the ear,it’s like the two pics were meant to fit together… :))) / I sold a matted print on the 29 th of november 08 to an unknown bubbler and that image was edited in the book “Gaïa the living planet” Same processing as Torn / When I did that image I thought about how menkind should be more united with the earth ,to feel renewed by the the contact of nature to become a better individuaL,TO BECOME A FREE THINKER.As long as we are trying to control the earth nothing good will come out of it,I often thought that we should be more like trees who are the lungs of our beautiful planet. / My friend C.C Arshagra wrote a wonderful poem inspired by this image,C.C realy understood what I felt when I named that piece. / That poem is called The Free Thinker would.. /
Self Portrait. / it’s hard to explain why i made this because the story is complicated, but to make a short story long, it resembles those who dare to be different.
This painting was inspired by my Spirit Guides like all my paintings. It may stir the viewer to see what needs to be thrown away or torn down and whatever remains can provide us with an opportunity to recreate ourselves. There are many doors we walk through in our lives and this painting reminds us to close the door behind. Freeing us to do more things, which may help us to understand our choices and visions. Grounding us without unbalancing our personalities, helping us to awaken a Spiritual understanding, which can help to transform our fears and accept our paths, whatever they may be.
this is part of my art piece for school. / i no i havent uploaded anything in a while :( / no stock used in this its all mine :3
Mixed Media & Digital Illustration. When you hold yourself hostage, be it in a physical or mental nature, you may be depriving yourself of something potentially beautiful, holding back from the truth trying to cage away the bits you don’t like and revealing only what you think others will approve of. Also available as a T-Shirt / (c) REO 2008
Dalian Flower Market. Liaoning Province, NE China. Unretouched photograph.
You may be just like everyone else, but with the right treatment… (Pentax K10D + Tamron 90mm f2.8 Macro) (oh, and it’s the low stone wall of church with a spiky metal ‘railing’ laid on top of it, which I’m guessing is intended to discourage pigeons from hanging around the area.)
Featured in The Dandenongs (twice)
Even nuns crave the simple pleasure of icecream… and there is a rebel amoung them with a calyppo! I drew this after seeing a group of nuns buying icecream (and yes, one bought a calyppo) when i was on holiday in Queensland. There was something absolutely adorable about teh idea, and I simply HAD to get it down!
“DARE TO BE DIFFERENT” makes the perfect gift for the independent individual in your life. Could that be you? The image features a photograph of a real White Raven (also known as a “Spirit Raven” by local Haida people) born in May, 2008 on Vancouver Island, B.C., Canada. He is one of two rare white and 3 black Ravens born to 2 accepting (black) parents. The two rare birds are not albino which is what makes them so unusual. Their eyes are quite blue. All 5 siblings are getting along extremely well and all are thriving. White Ravens are very rare and hold sacred meaning for many groups and cultures throughout the World, including Native American Indian, Celtic, Norse and Wiccans. This artwork is another tribute to these remarkably intelligent and friendly birds. 50% proceeds from all sales go to the Mountainaire Avian Society in the beautiful Comox Valley on Vancouver Island.

Thank you for accepting me for who I am, / for letting me be me, / because of that I am who I am, / I am Eric, an individual, a person, / a b…
This poem I wrote to my son’s English Club teacher on his behalf when he was ten. Eric had a learning dissability and has dysgrafia, (it’s like dyslexia, but instead of a reading problem, it has to do with writing. So even if he could come out with great stories and poems in head, his brain couldn’t make his hand to execute the writing correctly). This special English teacher was one of the few that inspired him to keep on no matter what. So he proudly presented this poem to her.
Could the universe have a soul, and we are that soul with the entire cosmos for a body? ~Ernesto Cardinale ~ I absolutely love Cosmos – the flower and the outer state, they are both simply confusingly abundant with life and beauty. The Cosmoses remind me how small we really are on the great world we stand on, how significantly insignificant we are yet together create something beautiful, a unique pattern for each section, like our DNA. Just love the thought provoking beauty of it! / This is an edited version of the one below: /
I’ve been living with this work for a while now. As with a lot of my work it explores the theme of ‘One’s Self’. A lone figure in a surreal yet familiar landscape. I was exploring the atmosphere of the beach and how we are drawn to it. The ocean demands your attention and it’s impossible not to stare out into the nothingness and dream of what is beyond the horizon. For a short moment time seems to stand still and everything else disappears, its just you, the ocean and to a larger extent the universe. It is a time to reflect and dream. Which brings me back to the journey of one’s self. www.lindsayblamey.com.au Blog
