  This was written back in 2003… I was 17 back then, so perhaps the subject matter won’t surprise you TOO much. Er… I won’t say how I came about writing this, but as far as whether or not to share it with others, I figured it’s either going to sound absolutely hilarious or absolutely nasty, especially coming from a guy’s perspective. Women can still write about this and make it sound sexy. Of course, if you’re going to knock this poem, it automatically makes you hypocrite and the joke is now on you. And if you’re too embarrassed to leave a comment, it’s ok… I know I’m dealing with a very, er, TOUCHY subject here! (LOL, pun intended)

  This dream has a lot of psychological connections and symbolism. A few places in my pyche that it covers are; 1) feeling split in two, I am really both the girls in the dream 2) feeling set-up for a fall ie: TRAPEZE 3) feeling betrayed, hurt and murdered 4) feeling a huge lack of privacy, like a circus freak show 5) feeling no safety 6) feeling forced to do tricks, and then paying for it with your health and life 7) feeling the hate of a large group 8) feeling isolated, this is all in the middle of nowhereland 9) feeling desolated and alone after it all, or was she? This was a large scale temporary operation…in my dream, but not in my life. The car battery represents the illness that has devastated the inside of my body and health. I think the sport activities were symbolic of sex, and the unicycle indicated that she was trying to be independent, on her own, but look what happened to her on her own.

  Enough is enough, she said. I have been forced to wait thirteen long years for this, and I have suffered terribly and cruelly. She still had many parts that had been broken on purpose and that were not working correctly, and they caused her intense functional hardship, distress, and torment. I want my own working parts and a main station. I will compute with strength and determination until justice is granted from the factory, and the parts are restored to fair working order.

  This was inspired after my ex-girlfriend talked to me for the first time since we broke-up, three months ago. I was with her for nearly two years. I loved her, but as with any relationship there were problems. This poem spontaneously came to me after getting out of the shower this morning. I didn’t even bother to get dressed before writing it, that’s how forcefully it pushed itself out. I hope you can find understanding within it. Personally, I like this one very much. Reviews are welcome. =]
