An untouched close up(with exposure)of a submerged brige when a few beaver’s barrages just collaps a couple of nights ago.I couldn’t drink or even used the water in my house for 2 days.We were not able to go out of our area for a day.It happenned at night and we could hear the raging fload so loud,it was amazing.The firemen were at the bridge watching when I took that close-up.This image is the result of the destroyed bridge,half of it just went along with the water,a very impressive scene to see and to hear because of the dead trees and rocs rolling over the road.The little touches of colors you see are the reflection comming from the lights of the firemen truck.I didn’t know if I would have enough light,in fact I didn’t have any idea about the result.I thought about using exposure for the creamy texture….I just remember that my boyfriend kept asking me,how much time you still need,5 or 10 min. and I answered 15 …. :)) He wanted to go to sleep,it was 1 o’clock in the morning. / /

We were in Venice in November 06 and on the first night there the fog came in. It is a magical city as it is, but the mist added to the mystery. We got lost along the back streets for ages. These photos are a result of the fog. I dont have photoshop yet to experiment on but I do love these images. They remind me of impressionist paintings. I like to think of them as happy accidents…....like getting lost.

I used bold colours and powerful brush strokes, as I do in all my paintings in order to create a lasting visual expression. Fishermen at the Silvrettasee (Silvretta Lake), Silvretta, Austrian Alps. / After a day-long hiking through the Silvretta mountains, I was deeply impressed by the peaceful mood and green-grey beauty of the Silvretta Lake. Ice-cold waters rushing from the glaciers of Piz Buin and its neighbours created an amazing abstract form of the lake shore.

This little guy was having so much fun swimming around in front of me and in turn, I had the best fun photographing him. Making the patterns in the water, causing gentle ripples, along with the reflections of the surrounding colors of trees and other plant life, the duck, not me, created this masterpiece.

Here another shot from those fairy-tale like hoarfrost days in December, again taken in the forest near Hilversum/The Netherlands. The light was pretty poor, but the colours were ever so beautifully softened. Near Hilversum, 20th Decembe 2007, 11.57 am / Nikon D 80, Nikkor 18-200 mm at 35 mm / F 14, 1/4, ISO 200 Again one of my few tripod shots.
