Because the forums are filled to the brim (if it had sound, it would be like a beehive with the lid off!), this is my preferred medium to send my message. IDEA: I’d like to be able to put descriptions and tags on multiple photographs. / Rather than having to go through ALL 200 photographs (which take hours), an option to CTRL and hold several images at once, then send the same tags and description, would be most beneficial. Tagging would be easier with choices of word already used, similar to http://del.icio.us/ allows. What I’d really like to be able to do is add/adjust the description field of multiple photographs. I don’t know of any site that does that already. I’m sure you know exactly what I mean, so I won’t describe it any further. All thoughts from fellow artists welcomed on this. I look forward to any response on this idea.

I’ve decided to branch out into other types of fields. Im always trying to think of ways to market myself without spending a fortune, but arent we all! LOL / I started to create statue like art pieces recently, and it dawned on me that somewhere perhaps someone is looking for new and innovated designs, to make into real sculptures/statues. / I would love to bring these creation ideas to life, of course I would retain the copyright design end of it but perhaps a collaboration between an artist and a sculpturer work make for a fine business venture. / If anyone knows how I can approach such people in that field please email me with info. I’d really appreciate it. Here’s a direct link to see some of my designs up close so far: Sculpture & Statue Designs for Licensing Fee Thank you / Lisa

I’ve put a new suggestion within the Redbubble Feedback- forum: Change colour of ‘Buy/Preview’ button to BLUE or RED. Too often my clients don’t see the ‘Buy/Preview’-button, I have to physically point it out to them on the screen. So either white on red or white on blue. I’ve had three people in the last two weeks say on the phone ‘What button? Where?’. Although at the time it was slightly amusing, I’ve slowly realised that this is really quite disconcerting and needs to be remedied. / How many more potential purchases have not happened because the viewer couldn’t see the ‘Buy/Preview’-button upon their screen? And thankfully this is an easy fix: The existing image simply needs to be recoloured, no extra coding is required! Do other Redbubblites agree with this idea? If you would like to see it implemented, vote for it- . Every vote helps create change.

Here’s my thoughts: What are the biggest objections to digital art? / I mean, once you get past the silliness about it not taking any talent, or effort, which is just ridiculous.. for those of us who do have talent and make the effort, that is. They are two-fold (and the same ones as people have for photography and print making, though that seems to have been forgotten over the years). 1. There is no original. Actually, with print making, there always is an original, but, that was still an objection people had. Of course, same with digital and photographic arts – one is always first! But, the point is that there is no original in the same way as there is an original oil painting. 2. There is no guarantee, specifically because there is no original, that the market will not get inundated by exactly the same thing as the buyer has purchased, thereby making their investment worth less than if they could buy the one and only just like it; or, buy the one of a few in a limited series of prints, anyway. Obviously, some of the guarantee that is made with art, any art, is simply the word of the artist. Most artists plan, and can reproduce, their works of art. If they cannot, someone else can. So, you have no guarantee, ever, unless the artist is dead and the work is signed. I will not die for you, so don’t ask! However, I can make a guarantee that only one canvas print will ever be sold of each design that is a digital drawing, painting, or fractal; or, something like that. How exactly to best go about that, I am not yet sure. Suggestions are welcome!
