Prompted by Eleven / a suburban portrait of a typical Melbourne suburban house / built in the 1960’s when the influx of British 10 pounders came out / Captured immaculately by the awesome artist Jemimimalovesbigted & presented … / ... so I could write a treatise that you may think would be taking the mickey out of that way of life. But I’m not [not really] I am capturing a dying lifestyle, a retro lifestyle, a neat respectful inane routine ordered lifestyle. I had a neighbour who did this till he died and a month later his house was sold to new owners a young couple with a baby boy …. who in all of a six month period killed his lawn with their three cars & 2 motor bikes and two trailers [not to mention all the mates cars & bikes], they trashed the big shed out the back and ripped off the veranda. They stripped the inside with visions of painting it white and installing all the new minimalistic styled furniture … and then they sold it because the house was too hot & too much maintenance & was costing them a fortune!! You gotta love suburbia! ♥
