Usually in winter the road up the mountain is closed,in fact it was closed while I was up on Newfound Gap. After getting a few shots I headed down the mountain only to find I was locked in,so I went back up and got this photo. Shortly after a park ranger escorted me down the mountain. It was nice being the only one on the whole road,a rare treat.

We added this conservatory to our home four years ago and what a gift it has been! Rain or shine, we can so fully appreciate the beauty God has given us in the surrounding cathedral of towering fir trees, and, in the warmer months, the radiant colors of the garden flowers. There’s nothing like a icy cold drink of watermelon juice. Actually, I’ve never had it but they say it is refreshing like the melon itself. So that is why I created this photo… Jug a Melon. / Take a sip! It’s on me! Watermelon is a Sugar Baby Watermelon.
