I walked up Kinder Scout recently to make the most of the snow. the snow was patchy in places and reminded me of this digital abstract I did sometime ago. So I thought I’d better dig it out to put it on Redbubble.

These imaginary flowers were originally 3 paintings / (done with Metallic brush pens on 110gsm cartridge paper), grouped and arranged in the computer (using paint & PS3) / to form a virtual garden. Flowers that never were / Flowers that aren’t here / Flowers that digitally exist / Flowers from a phantom place. More than 50 strokes in this combined display.

The first impression I had when creating this fractal was “it looks like little nuclear explosions”, so I ran with it, made a few changes to the gradient and ended up with this. Created with Apophysis 2.08 with 3d Hack.

/ Free your mind This poem I send to the youth…. I speak nothing but only the truth.. I been there I’ve done it all.. I made my rise I had my fall….. I was a gangsta…killer..crook…..... Whatever I wanted I bought or took…...My life was fast and my life was hard…..That life took me…. Behind these bars…I struggle and strive harder everyday….............. And at night I get down on my knees and pray…...For GOD to come down and take me away…....Because behind these bars I do not want to stay….. Am I telling the truth or am I telling a lie…......But once on the outside it’s my life I have to decide…...Once on the streets I feel like a new man….... I never wanna go back behind them bars again…........I have seen things that went on that just could not be real…....It’s a whole different world behind those bars of steel…......Up and down the blocks I roam…Hanging with guys who will never go home…...This is not the first I’ve been here two, three times…..Saying to myself… You must be out of your mind….One night in my cell I began to realize….. That it was GOD talking to me…. From deep inside…..He said my son I’m gonna forgive you for your sins…..But once I let you out you better not EVER come back again…....God said I want you to go out and make yourself a brand new start..I said LORD I have nothing but my heart….. He spoked to me and said….....Then that is where you start…...I said LORD i’ve been through too much.. my mind feels locked up in holllow…..GOD spoked back and said FREE your MIND and the rest will FOLLOW. I have not been behind bars since that glorious..spiritual night because with GOD in me everything will always be alright. Rev. Charles
