The Tiger King is the first of three ‘up-close and personal’ Big Cat paintings in my “We Three Kings” series, the original was created in artist colour pencil on drafting film. The second in the series is the Lion King, which I have already completed, the third will be either a cheetah or a snow leopard…I havn’t yet decided which one it will be!
Pencil drawing color enhanced in photoshop. The man sleeps while the dog stays awake they are both homeless.

This work is about the future that is inside of you. I was originally inspired to create this piece while I was listening to a speaker talk about how God sees us. That He sees us in our completed form; that there is a future YOU inside you right now. He sees all that you are capable of and placed that inside of you when He created you. / In my work I am conveying a majestic, tall oak tree, exists complete within a tiny acorn somewhere in the future. It’s the knowledge of the future that is the key to unlocking it and releasing it. So be aware of your potential and Hold on to YOUR future. “Something very small and average has the potential to be very great.” / - Carrie Glenn Hand drawn images from my own photos, then airbrushed and painted You can contact Carrie at: carrie@carrieglennstudios.com and please visit Carrie Glenn Studios / To purchase the card I created from this work Click Here /

There’s more ocean in fish than fish in the ocean… Nature is wise, but Mankind… just bumbling fools. Learn from the living, watch water in motion, Don’t waste your time staring at small stagnant pools. Fish are content to live their life in water, Water is after all their life’s element. There’s no need for them to be an “achiever,” Living, staying alive… that’s accomplishment. But there was one fish wanting something “better”, He wanted “achievement,” he wanted a “first.” He leapt out of water, fins in quick flutter, Taking fast to the sky… but soon died of thirst… / / Poem by Peter. “everything is mostly vast amounts of space between itself my love…...” Gallo, you told me that… and everything came clear… so clear… and even more complex now…. and then, “fluid dynamics”, you said… among all the significant words on that message, those two words brought my childhood back and my obsession for the infinite micro/macro… and you brought light into it. / You are the greatest inspiration for my creations, but this one, derived from that dream, is more than inspiration, it is a deep communion and I dedicate it to you, my soul mate. / / / i am so honored to have been featured in the EMI Magazine!
