Because, sometimes, you just need to say it.
It was then, at that bone-crushing moment of fatal impact, that Faceplate and Ringbarker realised they really were madly in love… Lineart drawn directly into PhotoShop, vectorised and coloured in Illustrator (for those who like to know about that stuff).
Every now and again everyone likes a good scream
Now you too can transform yourself into a primordial engine of carnivorous chaos! Simply don this shirt, tuck your arms back into the sleeves, and with a mighty roar, begin to terrorize your neighbours! Children, small animals, the elderly – all shall flee before your prehistoric might!!!

The Black King’s Rook / Artist: Simon Sherry / Biography: Danny The Black King and his Bullrock The Bullrock, or King’s Rook, are massive creatures created by the Shaman to carry supplies and extra weapons for the Army of the Black Spear. Strong but limited in movement due to their sheer size, they are the product of a long extinct race of Pachyderm that was gene-spliced with the last single survivor of the Giant race dwelling in the Dark Cathedrals of the Shaman’s Apothecary. Only ever used for battle, Bullrocks are treated with special care during times of non-war. (Peace isn’t a word in the Black Spear dictionary) The King is often seen in their company feeding and grooming them exclusively. In fact, so special are these creatures in the eyes of their master, he commanded the Shaman to create creatures specifically engineered to tend to their pens. In turn, the King’s Shaman has found more than one way of repurposing the byproducts of such a massive lifeform.
A deep sea pursuit through an old kelp garden. / An old one-man submersible is on the tail of something …. / ... something not seen before …. something big. Original sketch: / detail: /
The Black King-Bishop’s Pawn / Artist: Simon Sherry / Biography: Danny The right side of the Shaman’s brain, the masculine, is represented by things more natural and organic. In any effective army, the most efficient use of resources will always provide a distinct advantage. Knowing this, the King’s Shaman often recycles a variety of waste products including Bullrock droppings and the remains of the vanquished, and sends them back into the battlefield in a multitude of forms. While on the whole less effective on the battlefield due to their lumbering pace and ramshackle physiology, these muck golems serve a purpose both as expendable cannon fodder and biological weapon. More often than not, those who have met their end while fighting the Shaman’s foot-soldiers are smothered and engulfed as opposed to being beaten in combat. :
Crispy, burned dragon cartoon. This is why dragons hate getting the hiccups.
Poor little guy, all he wants is a hug. Here’s a print too, if you want to put it on your wall as well as your chest Kraken Looks like the blue is a bit much to ask from the printer inks.. which is fair enough, it is a little eye-bleeding. However here is the original colour as I designed it.
