Airbrushed and mixed media My Work Was Featured In Fantasy Art / (Thanks Everyone) Read the Collaboration of Written Work by Tony Hedger Part 2 of 2 / The way to get there is many in choice, / But a good first step is the inner voice. / By air, or water, by earth or fire, / Fairyland is your hearts desire. There you are free, all you can be, / And everything is real. / You could sit for a while, / Upon a sundial, / And chase the rays of the light, / You could float on the air, / Without any care, / Or fly with butterfly wings. / Buzz with the bees, and fly through the trees, / Float down with the falling leaves. You could go on a boat, / Through sparkling waters, / Made out of the shell of a tortoise. / Sit in the ring where the fairies all sing, / Drink, dance, fairy fling. / Diddle on the fiddle, play fairy in the middle, / Sparkle, shine, drink buttercup wine. / T’is close, you must believe, / Just follow the voice from within. The Divine in Me is all about creation and how it turn us a particle of the Divinity. When we establish contact with our “creative being”, we become a channel for the Superior Power to manifest through us. When we have an idea, it becomes first “plasmed” in the upper planes as materialized thoughts. Then we turn them real in the physical level, through a painting, music, poetry or whatever artistic language we are trained on. I represented this principle by an ethereal sunflower garden – the sunflower is linked to the symbolism Sun/God/Creation – from which we pick the “flowers of imagination” we once planted and bring them to life in the real world.

© Copyright 2009 Ivana Redwine, All Rights Reserved I started with a photo I took of a tree. When I took the photo, I wanted to capture the tree’s sculptural qualities. Later, I digitally manipulated the photo to create a more emotive, subjective work. I imagined what that particular tree might look like if it were depicted as an image that was halfway between a photograph and a painting. A hybrid of photography and art, this work blends what was captured in a photograph with digital artistic manipulation, creating a picture of what previously existed only in my imagination.
I drew this illustration for a group that I joined up at Deviantart called ‘Children’s Illustrator. They host monthly topics for anyone to join and base an illustration on… This month’s topic was ‘Hidden Garden’ and I had quite the time drawing this Thank you Sara Wilson ©
“Double, double toil and trouble; / Fire burn, and caldron bubble. / Fillet of a fenny snake, / In the caldron boil and bake; / Eye of newt, and toe of frog, / Wool of bat, and tongue of dog, / Adder’s fork, and blind-worm’s sting, / Lizard’s leg, and owlet’s wing,— / For a charm of powerful trouble, / Like a hell-broth boil and bubble / Double, double toil and trouble; / Fire burn, and caldron bubble” —MacBeth, William Shakespeare (1564-1616)
Can you spot the devil that’s spying on them?
