Something different for me. I have recently been spending some time teaching myself the art of pattern creation with Illustrator and this is one of my favorites so far. see also Starflower and Fields / I’ve been thinking of writing a quick tutorial on the creation of this one as it is so simple. I used a ruler for the iris lines (because there’s no way I could get lines that straight freehand).
