  • Derelict Baptist Church found in southern Illinois. Shot with a Nikon D-50 and Tamron 11-18 mm wide angle lense in June 07. Converted to a cutom sepia tone in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom.

  • Photo featuring the flashing lights and motion of amusement park rides. This print captures that other worldliness that draws so many to these places where one can experience a few moments of wild abandon. This photo was captured digitally but transformed into a photo akin to something taken with a lomo camera.

  • Chicago’s city streets fade into the Lake Michigan coastline and a dark dusk sky as night descends on the windy city.

  • I was walking through Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois on an unseasonably “warm” (45 degree) winter day when I came upon this picturesque grouping of trees.

  • Chicago River at Michigan Avenue. Finally there at the right time and able to catch a shot of this. In the past, Ive always been in a car driving and never able to catch this.

  • Saganasghee Slough in the forest preserves south of Chicago. This side of the slough has blessed me several times with nice vistas in the morning.

  • Photo taken at the Sycamore Steam Show and Threshing Bee. Sycamore – Illinois – USA Canon EOS 40D 3 RAW Images – Photomatix – Tone Mapping

  • This is an unedited photo taken of a summer trip. I loved the feel of this. I was shopping , on my way to get my nails done, and then I turned the corner. This was staring at me and I took the shot. At first, I was wishing the man at the door would move, but actually, he has grown on me with time! I hope you enjoy it like i do! ST. LOUIS< MISSOURI

  • I stumbled upon this bridge in Utica, IL Oct 208 This is straight from my camera, and I was so amazed by the beauty it took my breath away…Imagine, coming down a stairway made of wood, turning to the left and pow! This hits you….Thank God I had my camera! / I used my OLYMPUS SP-570-UZ

  • The Morton Arboretum / Lisle – Illinois – USA 1 RAW Image – Photomatix and Topaz Adjust Canon EOS 40D

  • Dawn on Lake Michigan on the north side of Chicago.

  • Sunrise on the Chicago skyline with Lake Michigan aglow. The 3 block rocks were covered with a coating of ice and along with the posts reminded me of Stonehenge. Worked in Layers by placing two widely different exposed images on top of each other and removing parts of one image to leave the deep colors of the sky and keep the highlighted icy block rocks. This done using Adobe Photoshop CS3.

  • We worked every day, Sunday included, until at least ten o’clock at night. I remember it was an event when we quit work on Christmas night at eight o’clock to attend a family reunion. ~ Walter Davidson, one of the founders of Harley-Davidson. Tim let me hop off the back and shoot this one evening. I couldn’t resist the combination of light and shadows, and the railroad track disappearing over the horizon.*

  • The Morton Arboretum / Lisle – Illinois – USA Canon EOS 40D

  • The newest addition to our family, Stewie, our 8-week old Great Pyrenees puppy, is chilling out here after his first bath and blow dry, hanging with Daddy on the couch. Stewie is a runt and will likely be 1/2 the size of a “normal” GP adult male, which will still make him about as big as a Golden Retriever or German Shepherd. Stewie likes to wrap his arms around my neck when I hold him and lays his head on my shoulder, and I rock him just like a baby. (shot untouched aside from cropping and border shading) THIRD PLACE FINISH IN THE PEACE, LOVE AND TRANQUILITY GROUP’S MY GORGEOUS PET CHALLENGE, 7/3/09.

  • This is Geronimo, my neighbor. Taken just behind the house last winter when we moved here from town. And WHAT a view! Although it was snowing when I took this, snow effects are added… as are Night Effects. I took this by daylight. Geronimo has since moved away but there are many other horses on the ranch. Doc, his father, has this paddock now. Featured in AMERICAS – Rural, Urban, Wild, Free Featured in PHOTO MANIPULATORS Featured in SIMPLY HORSES
