For Drawing Day, I don’t draw too often, pretty much never, In school I used to doodle in class on occasion but besides that I have no experience. I saw the drawing day thingo on the art feature page and had a look, So i got cracking. / I could only find a couple of IKEA pencils from when I bought my drawers months ago, so I had to use them, I also found a photo of a rose I took well over a year ago, it was a one off photo, seeing as back then I wasn’t into photography. It was a perfect idea for something to draw. And this is the result. I dropped a bit of wax from a candle that was burning beside me and I put my coffee cup on the work once I was done so it left a little coffee stain at the middle of the bottom. I am really impressed with myself, It was fun. Featured in Young Enthusiasts

Rebrand and parody of very well known Swedish store TO TAKE THE PISS / To take the piss is a British slang expression meaning to mock, tease, ridicule or scoff. Take the mickey (or variations) are euphemistic ways of conveying this expression where the word “piss” may be vulgar. / The term sometimes refers to a form of mockery or a piss take in which the mocker exaggerates the other person’s characteristics; pretending to take on his or her attitudes, etc., in order to make them look funny. / The phrase is in common usage throughout English society, employed by headline writers in broadsheet gazettes and tabloids as well as colloquially and is also used in English speaking countries such as Australia. In colloquial usage, ‘taking the piss’ is also used to refer to someone or something that makes a claim which is not in line with a recognised agreement e.g. an invoice that is double the quoted price with no explanation for the added charge could be said to ‘take the piss’, or likewise if something consistently misses a deadline IKEA / IKEA is a privately-held, international home products retailer that sells flat pack furniture, accessories, and bathroom and kitchen items in their retail stores around the world. The company, which pioneered flat-pack design furniture at affordable prices, is now the world’s largest furniture manufacturer.
