I really like this character – I think she looks cool in red! The message is about consumerism and stuff that we don’t really need, just to make us feel better and maybe ignore what the real problem is. To me it’s kind of an epidemic – especially in my generation.

I was just trawling the Bubble, as I do, and I came across this journal post / by Anne Van Alkemade, in which Lawford quotes that immoral – or is it immortal line – about, “I don’t know much about art. But I know what I like.” / And it occurred to me that there was a large segment of the demographic whose position in this debate had been utterly ignored. / This T-shirt is dedicated to them.

I’m profoundly deaf and people think I’m really ignorning them somtimes! This is the same as the first one, except I’ve made it available in for womens rather than men/unisex.

Some people force their way through life, asking for answers to every little question, no matter how insignificant or trivial, simply so they can ‘know’ the answer. They often obsess and can’t quite let go. For them, the truth is out there… For everyone else, there’s Ignorance, it’s bliss. :) (And yes, I’ve recently been re-watching the X-Files, what an awesome show) ;)

Very few who have hopped on the Sarah Palin giddyup bandwagon have not taken the time to investigate her extreme brand of religion. Pastor Thomas Muthee, laying on of hands and talking in tongues and the end times…a hodgepodge of extreme evangelicalism Holy Roller voodoo of her little church in Wasilla Alaska. Do your own due diligence Sarah Barracuda Palin one heartbeat away from the presidency if John Maverick McCain should not be able to serve his full term if elected….Senator McCain seventy two years old with a history of melanoma cancer and not to mention a volatile temper. Separation of Church and State is as American as the right to free speech….keep religion out of The White House and church and state separated. But you can’t keep the right wing nut jobs who love Jesus from commenting pretending to be Christians…nope they ain’t Christians just Pharisees with stones in hand and have but one King….Ceaser and will shrill and shout with Christian love if anyone should say anything negative of their new sacred savior Sarah Barracuda Palin….copy the agape if you are a “True Christian.” Scary read if you are a sentient human being “The Handmaid’s Tale” by Margaret Atwood and soon coming to America “The Republic of Gilead” onward Christian Soldiers with blind faith and love for Sarah Barracuda Palin….the Christian haters are amongst us….who do not question just shuffle along like bleating sheep shouting noise and gnashing their teeth….stop and think “What would Jesus do?” / The election is over….God must have sided with the opposition and rejected the Sarah Palins of the United States of American (?). The Barracuda is hoping to toss her AK-47 into the presidential run for 2012….wonder if God will be on her side and those right wing evangelical nut jobs wanting to marry Church and State under a Republican theocracy of intolerance…”onward Christian soldiers in the name of Ceaser!!!!” Too bad they don’t copy the agape.

what is the point of telling you anything / you never listen to me / you only hear the bad, the worst / but the good news? / you don’t care for them at all why? am i nothing to you / can’t you understand me / can’t you try, at least / do i mean nothing to you? why can’t you feel happy for me? i fought hard on my own / i’m slowly reaching my goals / accomplishing them slowly but why… / why do you feel nothing for me? uploaded this a few days ago actually.. just didn’t have it published till now.. you know.. that feeling.. when you’ve accomplished something, but no one seems to give a damn? it feels like sorta.. like having acid pouring out of my heart instead of blood.. running through my veins, burning me from the inside.. tears.. tears burn my eyes.. so much, it’s as if i’m crying blood.. how can i not turn into a hermit? if i retreat from people.. maybe i won’t need them so much. i won’t care for them. then i won’t feel pain if they never care or love or feel happy for me, hey?

This is a drawing Tony Webster did over a decade ago whilst in hospital, he reflects the state of his mind at the time. He gave me a copy to play around with and to create a T-Shirt design. The eye and some of the tablets are a genuine photo, the curly tower is a building in France, the other colours were put there using computer software. The reflection was created using computer software.
