  • I have taken this double exposure with my toycamera Holga on film. / The cityview is taken from Eureka sky deck in Melbourne. / This beautiful sentence was tagged on a house in Brunswick near mine, but a week later the owner gave it a clean… / With this photo I can always remember it. • Yes, before you say it … strange! :-) As of July 2009, this painting has had 5,048 viewings and has been favourited 79 times and had 194 comments, so I guess someone out there likes it. Many thanks for your enthusiasm. To be candid though, I’ll never cease to be amazed at its reception, as I didn’t spend too much time on it and even kept it out of my portfolio for ages as I thought it was sub-standard. • Many thanks must go to my son who faithfully held the umbrella to protect my Sami from the light drizzle that had started to fall at the end of our sea fog exploration on the weekend. I pass by this stand of trees four times a day and never have I seen them look so beautiful, so mysterious, so inviting. I was entranced by the light on the hill, shining through the fog… Sisters Beach, Tasmania

  • Ok so as the story goes… this was right place right time with a camera and imagination…. / I had just taken Dylan (son, featured) to the park for his afternoon play and was carrying around my Canon 20D (getting old now.. poor baby) and 50mm lens.. When we spotted this tiny little heart on the ground.. 1+1=2.. :D (I think?)

It is possible to add a very useful tool to every site (RedBubble Profile, Bubblesite, any Art-site or T-Shirt-site…) to see directly and live, who is visiting you…. :) For me it is very informative…..... maybe for you too…....... Now I will describe how to do this…........... You have to go here to FEEDJIT and you will see there in frames, under “Cut and paste the code below into any HTML page for your own instant Live Traffic Feed” a code, looking for example like this: < a href=”http://feedjit.com/ir1/5ceae12346ade7ae/”>< img src=”http://feedjit.com/b/5ceae12346ade7ae.png” alt=”” ISMAP />< /a> Just copy it, paste to the site where you want to see your visitors (write it for example in your comments of a new photo, which you have just posted)... Now you have to copy the last html-address (in this example: http://feedjit.com/b/5ceae12346ade7ae.png) and use it as a “normal” picture you want to post… Just write it between two exclamation marks: ! http://feedjit.com/b/5ceae12346ade7ae.png! (without the empty space….) Now you add the first html-address from Feedjit and use it like a link (in our example: http://feedjit.com/ir1/5ceae12346ade7ae/).... You write it after the picture address after a double point…. And it looks like this: ! http://feedjit.com/b/5ceae12346ade7ae.png!:http://feedjit.com/ir1/5ceae12346ade7ae/ (without the empty space….) It will work and show you your visitors…. When you go to: WATCH LIVE, you can remove your IP, and you don’t see yourself, just the other visitors….. Use for every new site a new code, which you can generate clicking FEEDJIT again…. When you have BLOGGER or TYPEPAD BLOG, you can add this tool to your blogsite too (just click here) and you will get even much more useful informations: for example from which site the visitor is coming, or which site he is using to leave your blogsite…. you even can see which words he is typing in google looking for your blogsite… very cool!......... Because of this adaptation to work this tool here at RedBubble some informations are lost, but anyway, you still can see live your visitors, not only as a number, but as a live feed….................. I love this tool! Try it too…... With a lot o greetings Nuh Sarche Read also: Free buttons for your website… or Little helper to write nice comments… or Use a descreet visitors counter and see informative statistics… Who’s among us?

Karl Noyeaux /

  • I wanted to try and communicate through art what it is like to live with a degenerating spine. I am not doing this for sympathy, but for the people who live as I do and the people that it affects in their world. It is not a pain that can be seen just by looking, as a broken bone is. Some of you know that I suffer from serious back issues. I have 7-8 herniated and/or ruptured discs in my back. To try and SHOW someone what this pain is like is very difficult. Mine has been an approximate 25 year progression. I have had 1 back surgery to relieve pressure off the sciatic nerve from the L5/S1 level. It had become so painful I could not walk without a cane at times. Sometimes the pain would come out of nowhere when I took a step and it was a lightning bolt shooting through me so hard I would fall. I have been in so much pain that I wished for death and if I had been able to walk and find the means I might have taken the out. Thankfully I could not walk = ) / My family has been so amazing in their care and concern for me and my grand children keep me motivated and smiling. I thank them all for their understanding… even if they didn’t really, they tried to. I am blessed to be a huge part of my grand daughter’s lives and it is the most precious gift anyone could ask for. It is difficult at times when René needs to be walked because she is teething or not feeling good. I lose feeling in my thighs at times and the pain in my lower back has been so bad I just cried silently until she was asleep and I could finally set her down. It makes my heart sad when Kolleen wants me to jump on the trampoline or run and play as these are things I must not do. However there are so many more positives with them. I get to be there for them in so many ways and when it’s all too much Sam and/or the kids help out until I am feeling better! So I thank God for all the help I am given, as well as still being able to contribute and feel needed. It has been my lifeline in so many ways.

  • Taken in the North Yorkshire Dales, heading out of the village of Grinton and heading towards Redmire Moor. you climb up a nice gentle slope and then a few bends with wide open roads and hit an area that looks like it has been blasted by nature and man a few times and you came across some open views and then vistas like this one. Best viewed large. Featured by the kind hosts of The Northern Landscapes Group Converted into pinhole black and white
