I just had to get this image of Hog Bay road before climbing the steps to the Prospect Hill lookout. It was such an idyllic view that I knew I’d be upset if I didn’t capture it. This road runs from Penneshaw to the Playford Highway (which takes you the rest of the way to either Kingscote or Flinders Chase National Park – depending on which way you turn).

I photographed this stream, one of many thousands that lace their way through the fells and dales of Cumbria near Ullswater at a place called Boredale Head. It was at the end of a road near a remote farmhouse and very little else besides sheep, stone walls and isolated barns. Pure heaven!
