Four hours from Boise, Idaho nestled high up in the mountains sits a remote,’ barely a dot on the map ’ town of Yellow Pine. Surrounded by an abundance of lakes ,rivers and creeks it is a fisherman’s paradise. I walked along “Quartz Creek” one afternoon and was able to capture this amazing image. An Olympus SP OUZ camera with 18 x optical lens was used .

On the west side of the Teton Range, coming down into Idaho, this cabin sits alone off the road. / Over the years it has been neglected and vandalized. Still, I found it a stark symbol of early settlers’ determination and tenacity…as well as visually pleasing.
