  • Inspired by the book “The little Prince” No,I didn’t start painting but one of my friend realy influenced me for that macro picture of an icestick .The icestick was frosted on the rocs in the woods, the reason for those beautiful colors.I just add a bit of saturation to put up the beautiful blue because I think it’s his favorite color. / For my bubbler’s friend Nigel.. Kafka a man who loves «Le petit Prince» as much as I do…..... / «It is only with the heart that one can see rightly;what is essential is invisible to the eyes» / Antoine de Saint-Exupéry….. I see in that icestick a the little boy with a long white shirt ,the arms reaching to the sky with his head falling back, his legs are beginning to vanish….you know that moment when the snake bite him and went back to his planet …I clearly see the blue snake at his feet ….I know I know ...I have a lot of imagination but I realy see it …. :)))) .......Please take a look at Kafka’s work ,he a fantastic painter …x / / /

  • Sculptured iceberg in Paradise Bay, Antarctic Peninsula. / / Limited edition prints available here

  • In July 2007 I did my first ever snow shoe walk from Falls Creek out past Pretty Valley to Tawonga Huts and the Niggerheads then over Mt Fainter and down to Bogong Village. The downhills aren’t as fun as my crossies but the uphill and flats are a dream much easier manoeuvrability for photography too. Great trip had some good weather (the following day was a whiteout). Love the way f22 on my fisheye lens creates this sunburst effect, doesn’t work very well with a dark foreground but with this highly reflective snow it’s a winner. Just after I completed this trip I got a phone call from someone who had heard about an exhibition I did earlier in the year and who had specifically wanted a picture of the Victorian Alps, they ended up buying a 12”x30” framed print of this one. To check out other mountain photographs see my Mountains gallery. 10% of all profits go to the Wilderness Society

  • another shot , shot on the last day of the year of 2007 / there wasnt that much snow in the cove, just enough to dust things and temps were cold enough to keep it there for alittle while, something about this field with the grass just tipped with snow and frost, the fog all around just awed me

  • Enjoy!

  • Schiffahrt Königssee, near Berchtesgaden in the Bavarian Alps, Germany. It is quite close to the border of Austria. The waters of the lake appear to be dark green because of the steep mountains that jut upward from its shores. We drove past the lake on our way back from Salzburg, heading to Munich and stopped to take pictures because it was so stunning. Thanks to ‘adrianney’ for the great title!

  • Featured in South Australian Artists March 2009 & September 2009

  • On my first visit to Chile, we were the first passengers to sail the Kaweskar Route of the southern fjords on the Skorpios III. The weather was terrible most of the time (typical Patagonia n springtime) and the day before this, visibility was nil. Imagine our surprise when this day we woke up to this serene and magical sight. I think it is the most beautiful landscape I have ever seen – photos cannot do it justice.

  • This berg was as big as a house! We were bobbing around in a little lifeboat so we could be close to these and get some photos. Our main ship, the Skorpios III, although happy to plough through ice flows would not venture closer than 1 kilometre to the glacier face. The glacier in the background is the Pope Pio XI, the largest glacier (I think) in South America. Southern Patagonia, Chile.

  • Taken at sunrise on a very icy morning, it was a full time job just trying to keep my filter clear. The hill is Cat Bell’s probably the most popular hiking hill in the lake district you can usually see the procession of people walking to the summit on most days, but not today at fist light!!!!. / The Island is Derwent island and has a long history, in Elizabethan times(1500) it was occupied by the German miners who lived there for there own safety I think the local land owners were none to happy about the Queen and these mining companies taking all there precious minerals. / In 1770 Joseph Pocklington purchased Derwent Island for £300, known as King Pocky he built the boat house you can see in the shape of a nonconformist chapel with bell tower, there is also a large house in the centre of the island but it obscured from view by the trees. He got his nick name for organising mock battles on the lake.

It is found directly to the southwest of Sarajevo, bordering Mt. Igman. Bjelašnica’s tallest peak rises to an elevation of 2067 meters (6782 feet) above sea level. So ladies and gentlemen I am very happy to introduce Tomcat – Climber.
