This was the best day of our Artic trip, we were so lucky to spend hours with this polar bear mum and cubs (there were actually two cubs but the other is out of shot). This cub was around seven months old and full of joy! / I really like the tender love the cub shows for its mum. / / (Spitzbergen – Scandinavian Arctic) / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / /

I was thinking about if the Neapolitan ice cream flavours of strawberry, vanilla and chocolate were characters and came up with this picture. Strawberry is girly, Vanilla is happy and Choc looks tough but a really big melting softy!

My new wolf friend seemed to like having his pictures taken – he stared “up close and personal” right into the lens. These cubs were around 19 months old and still very playful. We were very lucky with our bear sightings in the Arctic which allowed us to get some nice close-up shots. This was designed over the last few days while doing a series of bride illustrations for a friend. I thought they might look sweet on cards. It is drawn on paper with a very thin black pen. May be nice for a bridal shower.

This is a picture of my girlfriend and myself on the shores of Lake Ontario in early April last year. The photo is untouched and still one of the most beautiful sunset pictures I have ever seen!
