T-shirt version of Door-to-Door Hysteria… / Kind of speaks for itself really…
Bordom and sick humor strike again….
Depth Of hysteria, 2007 / Digital photography
Pen and ink over watercolor. Original drawing on cold press art stock. This may show my age, but I listened to Def Leppard’s Hysteria album over and over while creating this piece. Original drawing is approximately 28” x 20”.
Smaller version, similar style to Hysteria. This was drawn several years after the other one. Pen and ink original drawing over watercolor on cold press board.

/ This Hippo (in the Kazinga Channel in Uganda ) is a new and protective mother, she was letting us know in no uncertain terms to “back off”. Everybody in this image has a cell phone, including the dog and the baby (who is played by the artist). Each person is talking to someone in the photo. The bride is looking for her drunken groom, the cop is talking the jumper down (too late). Way too much to look at. See koudis.com for more
hysteria / 2008 / 16” x 12” / Mixed media painting on panel
Disappointed that Bird Flu didn’t take off like the Black Death, the news media’s got a new superbug to work itself into a froth over. ========= / No disrespect intended to any victims or their loved ones – this is a dig at mass media nonsense.
This rather grumpy visitor’s from out of town – he’s hungry. A little vector monster mash experiment for a challenge using a limited colour palette. Detail / Stay in touch Subscribe to T-Shirt Updates Subscribe to my T-Shirt blog | visit the blog
2006, Oil on Canvas, 24” x 48” For sure, a bit of shock and awe in the meadow. Sheep have the same reaction most of us have to surprising events, but they deal with it better. They just get back to eating grass, taking their naps and chewing their cud after they’ve satisfied their curiosity.
