One of our cats, Miss Blackie, who really is a princess of the dark She “adopted” us by coming to our backyard and eating from the compost heap…. so we began to feed her. She still is very shy, but comes in the house at night to be fed. So we have made a bit of progress. This image featured in the group Cats and Dogs, one image per day in September 2009. Many thanks!

View looking up the stairwell of the Point Hicks lighthouse, Croajingolong National Park. This lighthouse is immaculate and has been well looked after. It was named after Leutenant HICKS who was the first person to site this part of Australia during Captain Cooks voyage. They continued up the East coast of Australia eventually landing at the town called Seventeen Seventy. Point Hicks Lighthouse Febuary 2009. Image looking up the stairwell of this immaculately kept staunchon of the night. I hope this brings some relief for the victims of the Victorian Bushfires Febuary 2009.
