I was taking portrait shots of the baby, she´s my cousins, through the kitchen back door window when the baby just latched herself onto the glass by her tongue and almost magnetically began to rise up the window frame. So we went to a party last night, got a little merry and filled the taxi home with balloons. Matron allowed us to keep them, on the condition that we didn’t let them anywhere near the kitties. Sadly, George has a helium addiction and is under vet’s orders not to inhale any, lest he starts reciting Shakespeare again. I’m not so sure there’s anything to worry about given that’s just the effect you get with the pink furry pills – and they’re perfectly safe. So anyway, I wanted to see what would happen if George ate a helium balloon. It has this effect, evidently…

These big cows are black and white and produce lots of milk. As farmers are paid on the amount of milk they produce, Holstein Friesians are quite popular, making up more than 60% of Australia’s dairy cattle. They can cope with a broad range of temperatures and conditions.
