Henry, the whitetailed deer, is a family member. My son-in-law is a taxidermist, and Henry is one of his creations. I put Henry back in his natural environment today…
Children would love to eat vegetables if they grew like this. Photo taken with my Sony Cybershot in portrait mode. Field corn cobs were gleaned from a previously harvested field and the still life was set up and photographed in my kitchen. Photo has been cropped in Gimp.

Sorry ranga! Good old Summer Heights High. Dedicated to a friend of mine, you know who you are!! Hope this doesn’t offend anyone too much! Note: Unfortunately orange is really hard to reproduce in cmyk printing, so the colour is not quite as vibrant as I would have liked, but oh well, you still get the effect!

This is a photo of a cat named Pumpkin that I photographed just the other day for the Animal Care & Control of New York City. It’s the official animal adoption/shelter of NYC and it’s where I’m a volunteer contributor in the guise of a photographer. You see everything there, not much of it very pleasant but sometimes something will make you smile or warm your heart. Pumpkin’s one of those instances. He clearly wasn’t a happy camper in that getup but he was a real trooper in allowing me to photograph him and that made me very happy! Someone will take to him and adopt him for certain. He’s a gigantic loverboy! Click on his photo to enlarge. / / /
Only a woman would ask this question. It must be one of the grandest challenges for men of maturity to come up with just the right answer. Of course not answering is not an option. Level of difficulty ranks right up there with weekend Sudoko puzzles. “Is my butt too big?” is a digital artwork, in watercolor and ink style, by F.A. Moore, June 2009. Pocket wasn’t too amused when her bath got interupted however I found it to be rather amusing myself. I’m not sure they don’t seem to expect me to terrorize them when they are almost always terrorizing me. And a good portion of it is while I’m trying to sleep! Oh yeah ~ it’s fun to be me! Especially since they think I’m a cat & that it doesn’t hurt them so it can’t hurt me either. The fact that I bleed regularly never tells them otherwise! lol I love them to death though & wouldn’t have it any other way….................apparently! /
Influence of nature. Graceful curves. The wispy lines resambles branches and leaf motif on this piece. Enjoy it!
