[New Edited version] I have Donated to Philadelphia Mission Charity. All proceeds from sales of my art goes to help extreme poor, sick and often forgotten people in isolated and remove villages in Africa. Wounded deep by harsh cruel words, / And falsely accused by those whom he loved, / Beaten and bruised, stripped naked and mocked, / Tears mingled with blood now covered his face. Hate filled hearts tied him to a post, / His back like a field that has just been plowed, / From furrows deep blood flowed to then ground, / With a heart filled with love he endured the pain. Hands that healed and often clasped in prayer, / Feet that carried a message of love, / Both now nailed to a cruel cross, guiltless one now waiting / To die. Crowds stood and watched as he cried out to God, / Father forgives them! Forgive them he cried, / The price was paid he bowed his head and died. Forgive them father was his plea, / As he paid the price for you and me, / Our sins washed away and pardon secured, / Forgive one and other as he forgave you. Only When you allow Gods love to flood your heart, Will you be able to love and forgive all people. Lorraine, aged 8 years old, is orphaned and cared for by her grandmother. Both her parents died in a motorcycle accident, in 2006. on 22nd February 2009, her grandmother passed away. We are supporting another family in the village to care for her. We do need your help and Prayers, as our finances are low at the moment. We will care for her and hope to send her to school. Lorraine has not been to school ever, but her grandmother did teach her to read and write a little. These precious people inspire me so much to help them in their hour of need. Taken in Tunga/Zuga Village October 2008. Kebbe State. Nigeria. These are all Sisters and the reason they look so pleased is that we bought them new tools so they can till the ground. before they used hands and sticks. The Crops they grow is very poor quality and we also Gave the village a Honda water pump so they can pump river water to the fields. This village has no well as it collapsed on 2nd March 2009. It dried up during dry season. Now they only have the river water to drink, which has led to River blindness, Intestinal worm infection and other water borne diseases. We are doing what we can with the little finance we have, but need you to help us also. Ruth, the one looking at her sister is so funny. in 2007, both these girls were very sick when we found them asleep in a small hut in A small hut in a remote village. Their Father died and the mother was almost blind from river blindness. We provide care for them now and they are fine. / This is my inspiration and great passion in life. I took this when I was opening an orphanage in Guntapelle in remote India. 2006. We taught them in Sunday school to read in their own language From the bible. For three years previous, We not only evangelised the village, but reached out to the extreme poor and needy with tools and church activities. This scene was from our opening day when we took in 25 orphans. God is awesome friends and he loves all people, not matter who they are. I am new to Layers and this is my second effort. PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION. Taken in Tunga/Zuga Village. Remote Nigeria. Alfred is an orphan and like many his fight for life will be a brief one, unless we can help. In a world where there is so much food and wealth, millions of orphans are without any help and support. I work in extreme poor remote and isolated villages in Africa and India. I see first hand what it is like for children who have nothing, die in agony, often in the bush.* In my experience as a missionary, its not that the orphan is rejected by the villagers, but that the villagers are struggling to get enough food for their own children. So an orphan that has no living relatives will often die, as others in most cases try their best to provide food and water. Sickness, Malnutrition, Dehydration and other diseases act fast on a weak body. There are few organisations and churches helping, but not in the area where I and Philadelphia Mission, a small underfunded UK Charity work. *My inspiration and great passion to spend the rest of my life in helping these little ones comes from God. Jesus said “Allow the little ones to come to me and prevent them not for I love them. Help me and the small team reach them with the love of God and care for them practically. I appeal to all on RB who see this photo of Alfred to Give, even if its a small amount towards our mission to save lives and care for those in dire need. In times like these, who will step forward and save a precious child from death and suffering? . Together we can help many life Alfred. We are saving lives, but just cannot help the many more like Alfred. We turn many away, knowing they will die alone and in agony. it breaks my heart. Each day I feel the pain, and cry with these forgotten people..I pray through my art, God will speak to you who read this, and that you will sow a financial seed into helping us help them. ALL PROCEEDS FROM SALE OF MY ART, AND ALL DONATIONS MADE VIA OUR CHARITY MISSION WEBSITE GOES TO THESE PRECIOUS CHILDREN. PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION OF THIS SCENE. Inside a gypsy camp near Chennai, India. I was making notes on the people and conditions within the camp, and I noticed this little girl showing great attention to what I was doing with the pencil and paper. I knew that all the children within this particular camp never went to school. These people are in extreme poverty and school fess take a second place, to using whatever little money they can earn from making necklaces and bracelets to feed their families. I later gestured to her if she would like some paper and a pencil. She came running to me and I give her a pad and Pencil. She was soon surrounded by others, as she scribbled and made what was to her a very nice drawing. It was just a few squiggly lines and marks to me. / later that evening as I was resting the little girl came to my memory, and the Lord spoke to me very clearly. He said ” DID YOU SEE THE JOY AND HAPPINESS IN HER FACE AS SHE TOOK THE PENCIL AND MADE HER MARKS ON PAPER? DID YOU SEE WHAT I SAW TREVOR? TO YOU IT WAS JUST A FEW LINES AND LOOKED LIKE A MESS, BUT TO ME i LOOKED INSIDE HER HEART AND FELT HER JOY. I SEEN HER SMILE AND EXPRESS A MOMENT OF SHEER HAPPINESS, WHICH IS SOMETHING NOT OFTEN SEEN, EVEN BY ME IN THE HEARTS OF THESE MY CHILDREN”. The Lord showed me just how much simple things can bring so much Joy to people. She never went to school, and could not read or write. Yet in her mind what she had created in her drawing was something she never had the opportunity to do before. God saw the beauty in her heart and to him he saw more than just a few squiggles on paper, Please help us to give these children the joy of sitting in a classroom and learning new things. To give them the tools and opportunity to be what God wants them to be Successful, Educated and equipped to face a future with skills and confidence. PLEASE PLEASE READ THIS. This is the latest Child in Unga/Fada Village, Rural Nigeria, who has just become an Orphan. I received this, by Email last night from Joshua, our medical officer, via Email. / sorry about the quality of the photo. Chioma is 8 years old and her name means gift from God. I met her and her Mother in November 2008 while on Mission in the village. Her father died in 2007 and her mother died on Wednesday 23rd July 2009. I spoke to Our senior Nurse today at our Africa Mission centre, to see if we could take her to live with us. Sadly at the moment we cannot as there is insufficient funds to care for her. We have the Twins, their grandmother, plus Sam, David and Mora. We are providing for them. So at the moment Chioma is staying with a Christian family who lives in the village. the extra child will be a challenge. She will be loved and treated as their own, but it will mean there will be feeding and clothing problems. She won,t be able to continue School. To Cover Chioma’s School Fees, Uniform, text books, her living costs, which included all that she will need, Costs £ 12 – $20 – 14 Euro per month. Total for One year £144 – $248 – 168 Euro’s . I know these are challenging financial times for many, but I ask you to consider helping Chioma. If you cannot help financially, Please do Pray that God will move someone who can to help us help her. / I am not salaried and if I had the money I would gladly sow it into her life. This poem was inspired after reading a book today by Owen Waters called “The Shift”. An amazing confirmation of our stepping forward into New Reality consciousness, to experience new vistas of awareness and new levels of creativity. Following our hearts to express our inner joys through making our own meaningful contribution to the betterment of the world. I am grateful and believe that it is truly a great time to be alive! PLEASE READ THIS. [AS IS] Early morning in Kallaporum Gypsy camp. Tamil Nadu State. India. I stayed several nights in this gypsy camp to really find out what its like for these NARI_KAR_ AVARS gypsies. This was taken very early in the morning. A Mother sings in broken English ” Jesus we enthrone you”, as she washes her child . She will leave her child alone in the camp with elder woman as she goes to town to sell her hand made beads to get money for food. it takes one day to make a 16” necklace, and all she will get is around £0.15- $ 0.30. its not enough to feed her child. She may also work as a labourer on building sites for $1.30 pre day. Many builders and farmers use these gypsies as cheap labour. The gypsies have no choice but to work from sunrise to sunset for $1.30 per day. They are under Hindu religion, at the bottom of the caste system. Called outcasts and treated as untouchables, they face harassment, discrimination, abuse, and shunned by many. They have no Land of their own to farm and their children in most cases do not attend School, as they simply cannot afford the £70- $130 per year for school fees, uniform and text books. Living in settlements that have no clean water, No sanitation, and make shift homes made from mud, sticks and plastic bags and sheeting. Poverty here is extreme as is the high death rate of children aged 0-7 years old. 11 in every 100 woman die from childbirth and others develop life long complications. I and my Charity called Philadelphia Mission, along with Indian Gypsy new life mission, are the only ones working to help them. Tere are estimated to be 40,000000 gypsies in India of which The NRAI_KAR_AVARs tribe make up 4,000000. We need your prayers and help to reach them and help them, especially the children. Children’s light summer clothing and sandals and light shoes are needed. Also We need finance to drill a bore well, provide basic medical care, and cover school fees. We need you to actually sponsor a child. If you can help, please help us today. For me this symbolizes the moment when we pass away and go on to another place … Meet me in the light / When the time is right Meet me in the light / When it is my final night Meet me there and wait for me, / Meet me there and make me see. See the light of eternity / See where everything is and will be. Words by: me Picture taken in a mall ;) / Worked with contrast and a bit of orton effect
This is the second Photograph of a Young boy returning from his mornings fishing. There are less fish in the Nile today as Pollution, and a rare Water hyacinth that takes Oxygen out of the water has killed many. Because of poverty the fishermen are taking smaller fish out of the Nile and this is having terrible effects on the number of fish. Life is becoming very hard here for fishermen. now some are turning to other work just to survive. This is not easy as all they have known is fishing. PLEASE READ THIS. This is an AIDS orphan. She lives in the village. When I first saw her She was sitting alone with the Chickens and picking things up from the ground and eating them. I asked the elders who’s child she was and why she was left alone like this. They informed me she as an AIDS orphan and many in the village will not help her because they believe they will be cursed and get AIDS. Here she sneaks into an area where pots where left to wash. I watched with a broken heart to see her tray and get something from the empty pot. This child is now in our care. But there are more like her we just cannot help, because we do not have the money to provide for her. Although we have made great progress in convincing the many villagers in Africa that AIDS is not a Curse someone put on them, and If they help others with AIDS the will not become sick with AIDS. Yet there are AIDS orphans who are abandoned and left alone to face life. Many die alone and in Absolute Agony. Please help us to help them. “This was the exact moment in time when the Power of almighty God and his great compassion and love touched a dying Child”. Taken in Kaban Muslim village in Nov 2008. I was ministering in the village along with several mission staff, and a mother brought her almost dead child to me and asked for Prayer. As I held the still body of this little boy in my arms, my thoughts went straight to Jesus. I spoke to the mother and all around me that the only one that could save this child now as Jesus. I said I would pray in Jesus’ name. There were a few unhappy elders around, but decided to agree that I should pray in Jesus’ name, just to see what would happen. This was the breakthrough. Kaban village is a Muslim village and under Sheria Law. I simply laid my hand on the child and commanded life and divine health to enter the child and that God would fill this child with his spirit. In Jesus’ name I prayed. Instantly the child began to move his arms and legs and began to cry. I told the mother Jesus had healed her son, and to take her son and breastfeed him as he was hungry. All saw the Power of Jesus Christ and it was witnessed by all in the village. Others then came and many were healed and some openly gave their lives to Jesus. Others followed us on our way to Ungwa/Fada village and received Jesus in private. Jesus is alive and works in and through his people. He loves you, and that is a fact.
