this is one of the first photographs i ever took for artistc purposes….im afraid its such a low resolution because it was taken on my old old camera when i knew nothing about DPI and all that jazz / its so old in fact it even has the name blackcandi on it !......(my old username) but i thought id show some of my older work…and if anyone wants i am happy to redo this image in a high resolution / so if thats the case just give me a shout :)

This is my dad. He’s been playing chess his whole life and he is in his 80’s now, he lives and breathes chess and that’s why I always call him chess master. When I was little he taught me to play (and insisted that I do!) and today he was teaching my oldest boy to play chess. I just had to capture it, he gets so intense and thoughtful when he plays. There is a few more in this series which I will download in the coming days.

This illustrates the human condition as I currently understand it, that of being constantly driven by four primary motivations. We seem to have some degree of choice as to which way to swim, but the current is also a factor.
