This is my “Supreme” 2008 Aquatint Etching! Well, it is a copper plate etching, which has been aquatinted over and over and over again, until at last, its love finally! This is my daughter, she is sleeping and dreaming…her soul is at peace as she falls into a deep sleep. 111 comments / 74 favoritings / 3529 views * This is my third copper plate aquatint etching for the year….they are all 30×30 plates on A2 cream University paper. This one is my favorite though. I have printed up 10 of this edition, and can’t wait to print up some more. I am absolutely wrapped in this one. I hope you like it to, if you have any questions about etching or aqautinting please ask me, I would sleep in the print room and breath in the ink and ferric acid every day if I could! But we all have to go home and shower some times! My Cherokee grandmother often visits me in my dreamtime, last evening as the Full Moon approached, her bright pulsating light approached me in my dreams. / There was an intensity that I had not previously noticed within the beating light energy she presents with and her voice was strong. “WindOwl”, she said, “You and your fellow beings will witness the great transformation. It is reshaping the human consciousness and it will be larger than the genesis of humanity. You have seen, in the past few generations, every human experiencing more than their five senses can detect. Their understanding of themselves and their experiences are changing dramatically, as they sense themselves as more than they thought they were, more than bodies and minds, more than accidents in a random universe of inert – dead matter. Everything is an expression of Life, a form of Life – there is nothing but life and we are Life. / With this transformation comes new potential as well as new experiences, a new way of evolving as well as a new way of experiencing ourselves, and a new understanding of power. This new way of evolving is spiritual growth. The old species evolved through survival, now this will not be sufficient. We will long for more than existence, something more significant, for the reason we were born. We will long to touch meaning and purpose and to live them. This new way of understanding power will align our personality with our souls. The old way was through manipulation and control, now counterproductive and producing only violence and destruction. The new potential is the Universal Human, beyond nations, religions, races, sexes and economics – citizens of the Universe whose allegiance is to LIFE.” Her voice paused and she instructed me to breathe deeply, then she continued, “My child, you are to assist in the creation of authentic power, to contribute to the new species that we are becoming by providing support, love and tools that help illuminate the differences between the frightened parts of the personality and loving parts of the personality, revealing opportunities to challenge, cultivate and chosse intentions, consulting intuition and trust the Universe. Teach all you know to experiment with creativity, following your healthiest impulses and use your life consciously and constructively.” Her voice faded, as she showed pictures in my mind of a child being born, a marraige experiencing conflict, the nations economic turmoil to a flower emerging and opening a new vision of interpersonal and social structures built on harmony, cooperation, sharing and reverence for Life. / This was a most beautiful experience that I will treasure today, tomorrow and always…whether a dream or reality, I will heed my Grandmother’s message from the other side and continue to share. / I am grateful to be sharing this journey with you. Because Easter is approaching I thought it appropriate :) The child’s sustenance, or umbilical cord if you like is coming from a tree, symbolic of the healing that nature can bring….the new life and growth that comes with nurture both of spirit and of nature. Humility is understanding our rightful place in the scheme of all things, including nature, family structure and the wider community…... a world where there is tolerance for all, is the one i pray for

Inspired by / Tangerine Dream – Cyclone – Madrigal Meridian and by Philip Glass – Metamorphosis (Uakti) This is a composite. First image is almost untouched and created with long exposure with a flashlight. Second layer is worked in CS. Both blended and mixed in CS. For the image on the main layer I try to keep the Photoshop-work to a minimum to not loose the ethereal energy the method some times captures. This is my way to healing and selfrealization. If my work can give something to an other human being it´s many times worth the effort. Thanks for stopping by and look into my world for a minute. ...roy

Back in 1992, I wrote this quote in my journal, “Forgiveness is a courageous attempt to add steps to the ladder of the future. To forgive oneself is the doorway to heaven and the challenge of lives to come.” I cannot remember who the author was, but this quote is a part of my daily routine - / I forgive myself for what I’ve done yesterday, today and tomorrow! / In my counseling efforts the issue of forgiveness is always misconstrued, that in order to forgive you must embrace the person forgiven – this is NOT to say you need live with them, tolerate future abuse, or forget the lessons learned from this relationship. I guess that this particular belief is what sparked the inspiration for this writing at 2am this morning. / I am hopeful that someone struggling with Self-Esteem earns their presence and ability to hold themself in enough regard and strength NOT to compromise themself for Survival, Affection or Success! / Peace~ Imagine my surprise today 5/6/09, when my sweet sister DevineDay Dreams created created this beautiful artwork to accompany this poem…

Over seven years ago, I became increasingly aware of the Earth changes and shifts in energy. Initially I tried to ignore them or find “logical” explanations as to what was happening, but eventually I was overwhelmed by what was happening on all levels around me. / Gradually I realized that it was the Earth herself who was trying to communicate with me.. / So I was compelled to take pen and paper and go and sit quietly in nature and ask “What is it you wish to tell me?” ...and this is what she said / ....... It has taken a long time for me to do this, but what was written back in 2003 has now been published in a book together with a collection of my images, and will be available for those who wish to read the message or honour the planet that we would be nothing without. This piece of art is to celebrate the publication of the book, Message From Mother Earth From the book….. “Do not be afraid. This is powerful awareness. But it is also useful and healing too. It teaches you that we can create the world we live in, by the power of our thoughts. You are seeing that your connection with every part of your life begins and ends within yourself, within your heart, within your true thoughts. You are part of this circle of life, this very web, this intricate design of cosmic energy. You are at the heart of it and from your heart comes the power to weave your own beautiful creation. It is within you to change, to heal, to create, and to simply BE. Do not overlook the importance of this knowledge. And do not overlook the magic. For if you can communicate with the planet you stand upon, and speak together from the heart, then nothing is impossible in heaven and earth! Believe it, and it shall be so. Disbelieve, and you hold only a hand full of dirt, and some air. I am real, and so are you, and we are connected.”
