My Cherokee grandmother often visits me in my dreamtime, last evening as the Full Moon approached, her bright pulsating light approached me in my dreams. / There was an intensity that I had not previously noticed within the beating light energy she presents with and her voice was strong. “WindOwl”, she said, “You and your fellow beings will witness the great transformation. It is reshaping the human consciousness and it will be larger than the genesis of humanity. You have seen, in the past few generations, every human experiencing more than their five senses can detect. Their understanding of themselves and their experiences are changing dramatically, as they sense themselves as more than they thought they were, more than bodies and minds, more than accidents in a random universe of inert – dead matter. Everything is an expression of Life, a form of Life – there is nothing but life and we are Life. / With this transformation comes new potential as well as new experiences, a new way of evolving as well as a new way of experiencing ourselves, and a new understanding of power. This new way of evolving is spiritual growth. The old species evolved through survival, now this will not be sufficient. We will long for more than existence, something more significant, for the reason we were born. We will long to touch meaning and purpose and to live them. This new way of understanding power will align our personality with our souls. The old way was through manipulation and control, now counterproductive and producing only violence and destruction. The new potential is the Universal Human, beyond nations, religions, races, sexes and economics – citizens of the Universe whose allegiance is to LIFE.” Her voice paused and she instructed me to breathe deeply, then she continued, “My child, you are to assist in the creation of authentic power, to contribute to the new species that we are becoming by providing support, love and tools that help illuminate the differences between the frightened parts of the personality and loving parts of the personality, revealing opportunities to challenge, cultivate and chosse intentions, consulting intuition and trust the Universe. Teach all you know to experiment with creativity, following your healthiest impulses and use your life consciously and constructively.” Her voice faded, as she showed pictures in my mind of a child being born, a marraige experiencing conflict, the nations economic turmoil to a flower emerging and opening a new vision of interpersonal and social structures built on harmony, cooperation, sharing and reverence for Life. / This was a most beautiful experience that I will treasure today, tomorrow and always…whether a dream or reality, I will heed my Grandmother’s message from the other side and continue to share. / I am grateful to be sharing this journey with you. So how do you make someone understand something that you understand? You can’t. All you can do is understand it. So your greatest gift to them is just know what you know about death, know that it is nonexistent, know that this man, this being, exists eternally, know that he can come through the cat door either way, know that he is constantly, consistently focused here, know that he has awareness about what all of you are doing, know that his interest in what you are doing has not changed at all. Know that you have the ability to interact with him. Know that he has the ability to interact with you. And make that a real experience for yourself. And then talk about it as if it is a normal experience. Let it be the normal experience that it really is. Because Easter is approaching I thought it appropriate :) The child’s sustenance, or umbilical cord if you like is coming from a tree, symbolic of the healing that nature can bring….the new life and growth that comes with nurture both of spirit and of nature. Humility is understanding our rightful place in the scheme of all things, including nature, family structure and the wider community…... a world where there is tolerance for all, is the one i pray for

Stepstones / / From a series where i look at death and different aspect of death and dying. Inspired by / Tangerine Dream – Cyclone – Madrigal Meridian and by Philip Glass – Metamorphosis (Uakti) This is a composite. First image is almost untouched and created with long exposure with a flashlight. Second layer is worked in CS. Both blended and mixed in CS. For the image on the main layer I try to keep the Photoshop-work to a minimum to not loose the ethereal energy the method some times captures. This is my way to healing and selfrealization. If my work can give something to an other human being it´s many times worth the effort. Thanks for stopping by and look into my world for a minute. ...roy

Back in 1992, I wrote this quote in my journal, “Forgiveness is a courageous attempt to add steps to the ladder of the future. To forgive oneself is the doorway to heaven and the challenge of lives to come.” I cannot remember who the author was, but this quote is a part of my daily routine - / I forgive myself for what I’ve done yesterday, today and tomorrow! / In my counseling efforts the issue of forgiveness is always misconstrued, that in order to forgive you must embrace the person forgiven – this is NOT to say you need live with them, tolerate future abuse, or forget the lessons learned from this relationship. I guess that this particular belief is what sparked the inspiration for this writing at 2am this morning. / I am hopeful that someone struggling with Self-Esteem earns their presence and ability to hold themself in enough regard and strength NOT to compromise themself for Survival, Affection or Success! / Peace~ Imagine my surprise today 5/6/09, when my sweet sister DevineDay Dreams created created this beautiful artwork to accompany this poem…

I recently attended a round-table discussion and workshop with a Human Rights consultation group, something which motivated and inspired me to think more about what Human Rights means for me as an individual, and for the future of my children and all Australians. I thought I would share this information as it effects all Australians and I know there are so many of you here on redbubble who think deeply and care about our rights as individuals, as Australians and as part of a global community. Submissions are being called for from people across Australia and can be emailed or posted in until 9th June 2009. So please consider checking out this website Take a moment to read and reflect upon the three questions asked there (and summarized below), and having a say on the future protection and acknowledgement of our rights. / The National Human Rights Consultation provides the opportunity for you to share your views on human rights. The Consultation is run by an independent Committee. The Committee is supported by a Secretariat in the Attorney-General’s Department. / The Consultation is a chance to hear people’s ideas about human rights and talk about ways to protect and promote human rights in the future. / Key Consultation Questions / • Which human rights and responsibilities should be protected and promoted? / There are different types of human rights – which ones are important to you? Rights protecting individuals from the abuse or misuse of power by authorities? Rights to access services like legal counsel or housing? Rights to maintain or conserve cultural identities or languages? Rights in the workplace such as striking or collective bargaining? Some rights can be seen to intrude on other rights (for example a common debate is between “the right to life” and “a woman’s right to choose”). Which rights should prevail when there is a tension? / • Are human rights sufficiently protected and promoted? / Sometimes we don’t think of our everyday problems as human rights problems. And how this compares to other countries? / • How could Australia better protect and promote human rights? / The Committee is considering: - a legal framework to protect human rights (or Human Rights Act) / - Parliament voluntarily respecting human rights / - human rights awareness campaigns You can share your views by making a written submission either online or by post before the 9th June 2009. / Your views and ideas will be documented in a report to the Government.
