  • I am returning on Mission to the remote villages in Nigeria on 15th November – 16th December 2009. / As I was looking through the Charity Mission notes over the past year, I was reminded that in Tunga/Zuga, Ungwa/Fada, Kaban and Quo Vita Villages in very remote areas, there are 56 blind villagers, which include 28 children. River blindness and cateracts cause most blindness here. James lives in Tunga-Zuga an isolated village in Kebbe State. Nigeria. AS I sat and listened to him sing Jesus Loves me, I realised that although he is physically blind, he can see through eyes of faith. I wrote this verse for James and I dedicate it to all those children I have met who are Blind. “In my world of darkness there is light, / I see my Jesus through eyes of faith, / what these natural eyes cannot see, / my eyes of faith reveal all to me”. Here you see Leah praying to God before she starts her daily task of caring for her younger brother and sister, John and Sarah. Her father died shortly after our last visit in December 2007. Mother is sick. This is why I and the small team of unpaid volunteers work around the clock to help children like Leah and her family. • Taken while traveling through remote Nigeria in Niger Delta Region. This young boy came running towards our vehicle and we stopped for a welcome break, after 7 hours of bumpy dusty tracks. He wanted to sell us one of his animals. I felt so sorry for him, that I give him what he asked, after being told by one of our Missionary guides he had asked the going price. I refused to take his animal, as I felt we had enough food, and he looked so thin. After this he insisted that I should visit his settlement. After much persuasion with the team We did. None had heard about Jesus and his Love. All received Jesus as Lord. We also were able to give multi-vitamin tablets to the senior elder, and he promised to give each one a Tablet every day. It was a blessing. We now have a Local Missionary who visits the settlement each week. 100% of all proceeds from sale of my art goes toward helping the extreme poor, sick and isolated in villages in Africa.. • Inspired by The Manual of the Warrior of Light by Paulo Coelho From a series where I work to express the deepest emotions, both positive and “negative”. Armed with my Nikon D300 and a flashlight. I try to keep the Photoshop-work to a minimum to not loose the ethereal energy the method some times captures.

  • Louise is 4 years old and at the time of this Photograph was taken, her grandmother was the only one caring for her. Louise had a terrible skin rash all over her legs and tummy. I had never in all my time seen suck a terrible and painful Skin disease like this. We treated here with ointments and Multi-vitamins. and she made good recovery. I now am informed as from Sunday 15th February, her Grandmother died. We are now sending mission staff to bring Louise to our mission centre in Kujama, 140 miles away. The Villagers just cannot afford to keep her and feed her. So I thank God we are there to help. Please pray for Louise, The Mission and extreme poor in isolated and rural villages in Africa. • Bedlam heartburn / A series where I try to approach the fear of insanity. I believe that this fear is collective and that we all have to face it sometime, one way or another. This is a composite. First image is almost untouched and created with long exposure with a flashlight. Second layer is worked in CS. Both blended and mixed in CS. For tHe image on the main layer I try to keep the Photoshop-work to a minimum to not loose the ethereal energy the method some times captures. Inspired by The HIA and Biosphere – Snapshot Survey (Norwegian “ambient”) Real Cool ! And Inspired by Bob Moore who taught me so much of meditation and healing both directly and through one of his Norwegian followers. Thank you Bob wherever you are now. This is my way to healing and selfrealization. If my work can give something to an other human being it´s many times worth the effort. Thanks for stopping by and look into my world for a minute. ...roy

  • PLEASE READ THIS. Taken in Tunga/Zuga Village, remote Kebbe State. Nigeria. / My passion in life is to bless the poor by sharing some of what God has blessed me with, and allow others to share the blessings by helping, too, for Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my (Jesus’) name, receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me. Mark 9:37 Salome sits at the fire and starts her day at sunrise before anyone else get up. She prepares what little food she has to feed herself, her younger sister and disabled mother. She has never been to school nor had time to play like other children. Something went very wrong when Angel, her younger sister was born and their mother was never able to walk again. Since then Salome has been caring for her mother and sister. Salome needs mechanical farm tools, seed, fertilizers, and water barrels to store water. Then she will be able to grow her own food in her family garden. I am returning to these remote villages on 15th November- 16th December 2009. Please my dear friends, pray for and help Salome, and so many in her kind of life. If you can bless her by donating towards her needs, you in turn will receive a blessing from God. Psalm 41:1-3 / 1 Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. / 2 The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. / 3 The Lord will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness. • PLEASE READ THIS. Taken outside Chennai,Tamil Nadu state. South India. my passion in life is to help as a many poor and outcast people in the world as I can. I am not alone here. With te help of many friends here on Rb we are making a real difference. / http://www.philadelphia33.org/ There are 40 Million gypsies in India. I am working with the most abused tribe called Narikoravars tribe. pronounced [ Nari-Kor-Avars] just over 4 million and very little help. Only a handful of Churches, 3 in all, and one small Charity work with them. They are Outcast because of Hindu religion and just because they belong to this tribe. Treated, lower than dogs, they are beaten, stoned and chased from towns and villages. They have no Land, and little property. We are now working with these in small settlements. They have no toilets, clean water, no healthcare, no education as they cannot afford the school fees, uniforms and text books. those that can are often chased from schools. Many are Christian, yet the Churches have failed them. They hunt and make beads. If they don’t sell them they go hungry. THIS IS JUST A SAMPLE. I WILL UPLOAD MANY MORE IN A NEW SITE HERE ON RB SOON. WITH FULL DETAILS AND REPORT. They are in urgent need of Clothing, finance for water pump, well, med’s, school. • Taken along the road to Lallakurachi, India. like Nena, Many NARI-KOR-AVAR and Vaghiri gypsy Children are in great need. Because of the Caste system in India, these gypsies are classed as unclean, untouchables and Outcast. Most Line Nena have never gone to school. No Money for school fees, Uniforms and text books are just one reason. The second is that many are teased, bullied, taunted and made not welcome. Denied in most cases basic medical care, and help, they have no land of their own to farm. in the camps, there are no toilets, open sewers, little clean water, and many children are naked, as the parents cannot afford cloths. There is only two organisation working with NAVI-KOR-AVARS Indian gypsies in the Kallakurachii region. [The New Life Indian Mission], a native Indian Pentecostal Church which is seriously underfunded. The other is myself and the Philadelphia Mission, a UK registered charity. Nena is a born again Christian as is many in the NARI-KOR-AVARS tribe. Yet few will help them. Please help us to help thes precious children. Pray earnestly for them and us. Sow a seed into a child’s life today and make a real difference. Help us to reach these people with Gods Love and help them live a better life.
