  • :) The whole X Men thing was based on the idea that you could have a really quick random evolutionary mutation that would produce enhanced fitness. Which is a fancy way of saying – “Hey, what if a dude grew claws!!! What if indeed… / / -

  • Pastel on sanded paper (Colourfix ‘terra cotta’ – Full Sheet 70 cm x 50 cm) Another in the series of paintings I completed last year after spending a few days camping in the Tarcombe area of Hughes Creek, Victoria, Australia. • This my version of the popular “It’s Not Lupus” tee. The original drawing was drawn in pencils on paper, and the rest is photoshop. This is a second version of my tee. This one is all transparent, so it is available on colored tees. I think I like this one better :) In the first version, the face had a white background. / The original drawing: /

  • Pastel on Colourfix sanded paper (burgundy) 70cm x 50 cm My second painting for 2009! Just finished it today and I have been working on it for a few hours each day for about 4 days. The location is Hughes Creek at Avenel. Took me awhile to be reasonably happy with the look of the shallow water and I became very annoyed that in amongst a million pastels, there was not ONE that was the right colour blue that I wanted! ‘No. 1 Featured Piece of the Day in the All About Water Group on the 15 January 2009 / 3rd place in the ‘Water in Nature challenge, ‘Real’ Life Art Group – Feb 2009 / ORIGINAL PAINTING SOLD at Kilmore Art Expo – March 2009 / One of the 50 Finalists in the Australian Guild of Realist Artists ‘Australia at Large 2009’ art competition – May 2009

  • My most popular Purple Passionate and I decided to see how it looked in sepia. And I liked the results. I arrived at Hughes Water Gardens to shoot just after an afternoon rain storm had washed everything clean. I love each water drop and the way the light bounces off of them.
