I’ve had this around for a while, I’ve always liked the way the clouds mimmick the shape of the trees but up to now I’ve struggled to get it to really stand out. Thanks to Alan for his comments on my last Wolvercote image I started messing around with an S curve and this is what came out. Stands out quite nicely now…! Happy days! Thank you Alan!

I used my Canon EOS, Digital Rebel XT; Shutter Speed 1/1000 sec., F-stop and aperture value F/5.6, ISO 400, Lens was a Canon Ultra Sonic Zoom EF Lens 70-300mm. with Image Stabilizer, 1:4-5.6; Focal Length of lens was 250.0mm; and the Bit Depth was 8. The giraffe is related to deer and cattle, but is placed in a separate family, the Giraffidae, consisting of only the giraffe and its closest relative, the okapi. Its range extends from Chad in Central Africa to South Africa. Giraffes usually inhabit savannas, grasslands, or open woodlands. However, when food is scarce they will venture into areas with denser vegetation. They prefer areas with plenty of acacia growth. They will drink large quantities of water when available which enables them to live for extended periods in dry, arid areas.

Digital finger painting (with a mouse), completed through the wee small hours. I’m having trouble sleeping, too many images in my head. Even when I’m asleep, I’m drawing in my dreams.
