Captured (I wish!) in the pit lanes at the V8 Supercars, Bathurst. I thought this was a movie star so had to ask a google eyed young boy holding an autograph who it was …. (ok forgive me I’m a pom!). I did know he was familiar :D Thought it would be fun to put it out there, who is this man? Thank you for looking!

I couldn’t resist taking this lovely social moment and interaction between the lady I now know as Bernadette with her border collies, Bobby McGee and Black Jack at Burleigh Beach. I asked Bernadette if I could publish what she told be in her bubblemail, thank you Bernadette. _I’m a chartered accountant who was forced to give up my acctg practice as I have a rare pancreatic cancer (somatastatanoma – head of the pancreas, 1 in 40 million chance) and the blessing about this is that I have more time to pursue my photography… If you have any half decent photos of my darling angel dogs – who definately are keeping me alive right now, I would be grateful if you could send to me_ Thank you for contacting me Bernadette.

For Andrew, our son the wicket keeper. By the way, for all you non aficianados, this is a cricket match in action. The guy on the left of the photo is the wicket keeper, who has just knocked the stumps or bails off the wickets. By doing this he ’s got the batsman out, (stumped him) but is asking the umpire. The umpire has to ‘give’ the batter out. Any question, don’t ask me. Ask someone who knows what they’re talking about…or Andrew! this is as it came from the camera…it pays to use a tripod and action mode!
