How Far Can A Hug Travel
by Wendy SleeHow far can a hug travel? / Can its strength endure the miles? / At the speed of light over five thousand k’s / Can you feel my smiles…
this is a little poem I wrote in my much younger days….. but I was inspired by a wonderful act of kindness here on rb recently, it reminded me of these words, and it made me think that while we can send the word “hug” back and forth across the waves to the people we care about, I honestly believe we can send the energy with it! AND more importantly, the person receiving it can actually feel it! / I am one who works with energy and knows just what power it holds…...So when you type those little thoughts and good wishes, MEAN them! And the vibes will travel and will endure…. THANK YOU Sophie – You are an Inspiration and a Friend.

HOW DOES YOUR GARDEN GROW
by JaneAParis...mary said, with a very angry shake of her head / twisting her neck completely sideways / to look you straight in the f’ing eyes…
This is about lies, torture, and female health problems (the garden), thus impacting fertility, sexuality, and well-being in general. This is about having to deal with people who pretend to care about you, asking you ‘how you are’, when they really don’t care, and they actually know that you are being intentionally abused. This is about inflicting pain on another human being that never heals. This is about mutual hatred. It is also about a life skill that is extremely hard to master, moving sideways because you have no choice, not forward or backward, like others.

How Love Can Drown Us All
by loloweIt started with a question / Sinewy, intangible / Sparking the air like current in water / Pulling us downward beyond ourselves Our finge…
I wanted to write something a little more on the romantic side…though I’m not an explicit person…and subtlety is my nature, so I didn’t just outright speak of love. I just hinted it in the motion of water.
