  • We have had some seriously strong winds the last couple of days, out and about today found this poor MG ZT Touring crushed under part of a house that had come down on it, the poor guy was asleep in the house when it happened at 5am today (2 March 08), not his day me thinks??

  • Another shot of the poor MG and the house this time, i couldnt get any better shot than this due to the lens not fitting between the gaps in the fencing. / To add insult to injury, the poor guy told me that he had just washed and waxed the car and filled it up with fuel the night before!!

  • This one is a wee bit older. In fact, it was made way back when I was in college (which is longer ago than I would like to admit.) I don’t know about you, but it’s sort of making me hungry… Anyone else? No? Guess it’s just me.

  • Artwork from Ireland. I came across this little old cottage in The Aran Islands off the coast of County Clare/ County Galway on the west coast of Ireland. I’m sure there was a pot of tea brewing on the stove there many many years ago. These tiny fields are dating from The Great Irish Famine of the 1840’s Ireland. That’s the sea in the background. Camera: Kodak DC265 (old digital dating from 1999 …only 1.5million pixels…hence the pixelated look of the image) / This image has been colour enhanced digitally for more dramatic effect. • I seen this Stone house on our road trip in Tennessee, Just out of Gatlinburg, and made my husband turn around..it was built right in the side of a huge hill..totally abandoned, I was walking closer to walk inside..or peek into the window..but the horrible (and I mean HORRIBLE!) Smell that hit me in the face like a brick made me turn around retching..lol..so I decided to (with my imagination running wild and seeing in my mind some corpse in a chair watching the tv that was inside the house) I walked very fast in the direction of my car.. Nikon D90 / 18-200mm VR Lens

  • The little harbour at Coverack, on the Lizard Peninsula, Cornwall, UK. This picture has not been processed as HDR. Best Viewed Large. Hope you like it. / Thank you for viewing.

  • These are historic houses in my area. There is a big mill right behind my house and these are the stone houses the workers used to live in. Some are still beautifuly restored and make my neighborhood quaint and historic. They even have walking tours of the area! / They were part of the Stillwater Mills in Esmond, RI It is a 11×14 acrylics on canvas. I did this from an old historic black and white picture I found in a story about the mill.

  • PORTMEIRION is an Italianate resort village in Gwynedd, on the coast of Snowdonia in Wales. The village is located near Penrhyndeudraeth, on the estuary of the River Dwyryd, two miles southeast of Porthmadog, and one mile from the railway station at Minffordd, which serves both the narrow gauge Ffestiniog Railway and Arriva Trains Wales (Cambrian Line). / Portmeirion has served as a location for films and television shows, most famously serving as The Village in The Prisoner. / THE PRISONER is a 17-episode, British television series which was first broadcast in London from the 1st of October 1967 to the 4th of February 1968. Starring and co-created by Patrick McGoohan, it combined spy fiction with elements of science fiction, allegory, and psychological drama. / The series follows a British former secret agent who is held prisoner in a mysterious seaside village where his captors try to find out why he abruptly resigned from his job. Although sold as a thriller in the mould of McGoohan’s previous series, Danger Man (called Secret Agent in its U.S. release), the show’s combination of 1960s countercultural themes and surreal setting had a far-reaching effect on science fiction/fantasy programming, and on popular culture in general.
