Another photo taken in the Great Alpine Region, this in pretty much the middle of nowhere in Benambra, VIC. At 700m+ above sea level, it’s also very cold ! Canon 40D w/ EF-S 10-22mm / Focal length @ 10mm / Aperture: f/22 / Shutter: 1/3sec & 1/60sec / ISO: 100 / With this shot I combined the sky from the under exposed shot (1/60sec) as the sky in the original was too blown out, combined with some de-saturation.

The exterior of this old stately home is really quite grand, and i think made by the same architect as the Way to school building due to the presence of many similar features such as the plaque space above the door etc.

I was coming home yesterday from an appointment downtown, / and happened to look over and see this place. It was completely / abandoned, along with garages, a barn and cars. Didn’t go in, (yet..heh) but I got a few good shots from the front. I added the flood..(to go with the title.) / / CS3/Corel/handheld/Samsung/HDR / I can’t even begin to list all of the things I did to this. / One filter conversion to the next applying and painting certain areas with the saturation brush, then repeating the process + / overlays & more fine tuning!
