A Summer landscape in Holland

On the 12th day of May 2008 I witnessed (along with thousands of others) a perfect circle in the form of a rainbow around the sun at about noon-time at a beautiful place in the Philippines. Completely perplexed, stunned and amazed at this extraordinary and divine sight, I HAD to create this artwork. Im not sure where you were or what you were doing at this same moment of time but I guess this is all we have. Small pigments of time all squeezed together. And if we’re blessed enough, we get moments like these and realise even for a second the gravity of God’s love. There were no photo’s taken at the time and all I had available to me was the memory of this moment… The moment my heart burned. Print available. / Vector digital art created in illustrator.

A little river near my house.The colors looks smooth because of the thin fog ,nothing added ,untouched.

A photograph of a bubble on some twigs….much like the other one but this one had a lot more reflections and colors. You can see my camera and my hand in the middle as well. / It is very yellow, I don’t know how that happened, maybe the gloomy grey skies. Most of them are clear with blue and pink streaks. This one reminded me of colored mercury glass. / (I added shadow to bring out the colors more.)

Another experiment with metallic blue paper as a background and the flash on my camera… haha, I guess it worked well. I never use my flash, so that’s why this is so experimental, hehe. It’s also the stamen of a hibiscus.

A winter panorama shot of the valley Valldal on the west coast of Norway, taken during the christmas holiday. Stitched together of 15 pictures. Post-processing: / Stitched some pictures together, obviously. Fixed the contrast with curves, added a lighter curve only on the lower part as the valley was pretty dark, and the mountain tops really light. Added two black and white layers set to hard light (140%), mainly on the sky and the mountain tops.

/ Behind the beach house we stayed in on the east coast of Florida last week, they had a patio area off the back. And this little guy, kept trying to sneak up on us. So I went upstairs and out onto the second floor bedroom balcony with my camera and caught him looking through the back fencing!! :-)) It was a cat and mouse game I enjoyed!! LOL

On a hike to Mt. Cucamonga’s summit one can catch the early light in the canyon’s trees.

A marvelous evolutionary adaptation: when baby birds are in the nest, they pass the feces in enclosed sacs, so as not to soil the nest. The parents will carry the sacs off some distance ( so as not to attract predators) and dispose of them. I waited over an hour for this shot.
