Isn’t this a beautiful plant that resides in my home. The tag on this great plant says: Alocasia Amazonica Compacta. I was inspired by the patterns and beauty of the greenery and then digitally enhanced the photograph.
The “monster” sized leaf of the Split-Leaf Philodendron (Monstera deliciosa) makes an incredible statement in the ground or in a large pot in a tropical landscape, around pools, patios, or in the house.

My houseplants are enjoying the summer outside. This is one of my favorite houseplants.
A delicate fern nestles gracefully alongside a “Falling Star” streptocarpus, both of them liking lots of indirect light throughout the year.
