  • Little dream house
    by Mike Savad

    US$4.99–US$114.00

Taken in Westfield, NJ 2007 – Just an adorable little house in the height of autumn

  • On the 12th day of May 2008 I witnessed (along with thousands of others) a perfect circle in the form of a rainbow around the sun at about noon-time at a beautiful place in the Philippines. Completely perplexed, stunned and amazed at this extraordinary and divine sight, I HAD to create this artwork. Im not sure where you were or what you were doing at this same moment of time but I guess this is all we have. Small pigments of time all squeezed together. And if we’re blessed enough, we get moments like these and realise even for a second the gravity of God’s love. There were no photo’s taken at the time and all I had available to me was the memory of this moment… The moment my heart burned. Print available. / Vector digital art created in illustrator.

Another experiment with metallic blue paper as a background and the flash on my camera… haha, I guess it worked well. I never use my flash, so that’s why this is so experimental, hehe. It’s also the stamen of a hibiscus.

  • The Blue City II
    by Damienne Bingham

    US$3.99–US$91.20

Chefchaouen is a city in northwest Morocco. It is the chief town of the province of the same name. Chefchaouen is situated in the Rif Mountains, just inland from Tangier and Tetouan. The city was founded in 1471, as a small fortress which still exists to this day, by Moorish exiles from Spain to fight the Portuguese invasions of northern Morocco. It was known as one of the main concentrations of Moriscos and Jews who sought refuge in this mountainous city after the Spanish Reconquista in medieval times. In 1920, the Spanish seized Chefchaouen to form part of Spanish Morocco. They returned the city after the independence of Morocco in 1956. The name ‘Chefchaouen’ refers to the shapes of the mountain tops that tower over the town, that look like the two horns (chaoua) of a goat. It literally means “look at the horns”. The blue-rinsed houses and buildings, are a tradition that comes from the town’s former Jewish population. • Sisters Fishing
    by Karin Taylor

    US$4.99–US$114.00

Sales of this Design? – 2 sales so far :) / ‘Friends Series’ card by Karin Taylor _Friends are siblings God forgot to give us.’ _- Unknown Sisters Fishing is a painting done on canvas textured paper. It was so much fun to paint this one. The inspiration for the stripes on the towels came from the wierdest idea. I was just staring one day at a set of brightly coloured corkboard pins at my eye level on the cupboard and the idea was born! Inspiration comes from all over the place!

  • Hacienda
    by George Lenz

    US$4.48–US$102.60

Well here it is. Been working on this for two days. It’s a compilation of several images. Some you may recognize from previous submissions(especially the egrets). I’m divulging a lot of secrets here. This is my second, scratch that, third rendition of this. You are not seeing the first one… yet (lol). There are 8 different images included here. Most of them had to be HDR processed. The sky and mountains were created with Terragen. The sun was created with CS2 lighting effects. The water as created with Flood. The house image was taken from a painting we have on our wall at home. That’s what gave me the original idea. The main landscape image was taken at a park near my house where I walk all the time. I was resting one day looking out on the open soccer field and, well, you know how it works. I had to do significant editing to the field shot to remove houses, trash cans, wires and you name it. Then I started to fill it in. You will see this landscape again, for sure with other…ah… items on it. Stay tuned. Any how this was a lot of fun getting to this point, so I hope you like it. Any, and all comments are welcomed…you know I can take it…:-)

  • GOD'S LITTLE LAND
    by Al Neaimi

    US$5.56–US$39.66

Leun Town , Germany. Sally Omar / Did it again Sally got inspired by This work and wrote this Poem to go with this Image , she also named the work,Thank you sally / —-—-—-—-—- / GOD’S LITTLE LAND The Creator envisioned a sight so beautiful to see / And fashioned it in his magnificent glory / A place for souls of only good heart / And purity of their mind from the start / He called in the Angels to help him decide / Only those souls he would allow to reside / In this place created by one movement of his hand / And it was so aptly named “God’s Little Land” / With a stroke of his paintbrush the sky turned red / And painted the clouds so white floating overhead / This was in a place so far removed from anyone / The Angels picked out the souls one by one / Men of honor and women of sympathy / In this land so filled with love and charity / These chosen people never get wretched nor old / Because of the purity of their hearts and their souls / Not many people have been allowed to live in this place / But those who do are the ones with the smiling face.

    by Sherstin Schwartz

I love these little waxflowers… they’re so photogenic, haha. The wind was blowing a lot that day, so it created the soft motion effect in the background. Enjoy!
