On the return trip from the East Coast Trail in Bay Bulls, we spotted this beautiful red fox lying down in the grass on the lawn of one of the houses.

This is the exterior shot of the abandoned house I visited. It really doesn’t look so bad from the outside, just a few broken windows, and some junk around (mostly outback). The sun sets on this old house, in more ways than one. I believe it shall soon be no more, it’s life given for a a new housing estate. No-one lives there now, but soon there’ll be hundreds of little blocks with little houses and not-so-little morgages!

An old place a found just outside of Healesville yesterday which reminds me of an old Tom Waits song.

I forget the exact location but I spotted this dwelling on my travels in Scotland. It seemed as though it was only in need of a bit of TLC so I asked a couple of locals if it used to be an Inn or parish building. The reply was, “no, just a house”, and then they locals turned and left without another word…..............Almost as if there was some mystery surrounding it…...........hence the title Unloved

I went Cod fishing this weekend… what a thrill that was. It was my first time on the open sea in nothing but a little 19 foot dory. We caught some fish, saw a few whales and thousands of sea birds. This is one of the fishing stages that can be found up and down the coast.
