I couldn’t really think of a title for this shot, I tend to really be bad at doing that and well, the title of this kinda just popped in my head….I was just getting ready to leave Washington Park in Denver, when I happened to glance over and noticed this, and it just sorta caught my eye, the color, the light, the symmetry of the whole scene…so I went ahead and swung my tripod around and shot a few of the scene. Processed in HDR, let me know what ya think! More of my work can be seen on my website at jdebordphoto.com
This image was taken after my partner of 15 years died. His family came and took everything away from our home. I’ve taken with me our cat and our 15 years

As a society I think we are very insulated, shutting ourselves off from the outside world at every chance we get. Curtains hang at the windows to block out all that we do not wish to see and those with prying eyes. Should definitely be viewed LARGE! I don’t know why but this shot reminds me of minty gum… haha, I think it’s the color. Pine trees don’t taste like gum? :D A pine tree that resides in my backyard. Enjoy!
Last summer there was this crazy metallic green bee hanging around my garden. It was intersting because it hardly moved… I know it wasn’t dead because it walked around the flower it was on… but I went inside to get my extension tubes and a half an hour later it was still there. I don’t know what type of bug/bee it is… but I love it’s coloring! Enjoy!
