Not far from a youth hostel at Verona was this amazing building. Part house part cave!! I can just imagine young Romeo climbing the vines to seek out his sweet Juliet.

This is the Koln Monchen Glachbach Youth Hostel. I stayed in this beautiful place while backpacking around Europe. The actual hostel is hiding behind their very own forest.

Although this is just a standard youth hostel on the banks of a loch in Scotland, in this state of dereliction it reminds more of the hostel from the movie of the same name, very foreboding!

Welcome to Hostel Hell! This photo was taken at Hell station. Hell is actually a small village in Stjørdal, Norway with a population of 352. The name Hell actually comes from the Old Norse word ‘hellir’, which means ‘overhang’ or ‘cliff cave’ but it can also mean ‘luck’ in Norwegian.
