This horse, Rivendell’s Jack Sparrow, belongs to my brother and sister-in-law, who own Rivendell Farm in Alabama. Jack is a Connemara pony. His sire, Grange Finn Sparrow, was winner of the American Connemara Pony Society HALL OF FAME PERFORMANCE AWARDS in 1995, was known as a Champion Jumper in Ireland, and is considered the “apex” of Connemara jumping breeding. He is sire of the Canadian eventer, Windswept, Sparrow Cappuccino, and many more.

A horse standing just inside her barn looking out. I just happened to be passing by and photographed her. There was a foal laying on the ground beside her. / My first photo to hit 5000+ views (thank you!)
The heavy weight. The working horse is always a favorite! Even out of harness you can see their power. This lot look like they’re coming up for a treat. / An original drawing of Clydesdales done in colour pencil and white gouache. Size of original artwork – 55cm x 81cm 2007 Has been featured in ‘Equine Art and Photography’, ‘Pencil Drawing’ and ‘Everything Draft Horse and Carriage’ groups.

Thanks to Tony’s support and belief in my talent I am inspired by his phenomenal talent to become a better artist and to express raw beauty, innocence and power such as I did in this work. I plan on more works with this feeling incorporating the beautiful human form and the raw magic and power of animals. /

Fell in deep like with Jake the Clydesdale on a visit to a working farm. He got bored after the carrots ran dry and wandered off in disgust. So, here he is, set free on a beach & processed with love. A tribute to all the pretty horses and the peace they breathe into our battered souls.
Wild horse in Utah’s west desert. He was definately tuned into me.
I had taken photos of many of these carved and painted horses from various carousels at parks and carnivals. My attempt to do something interesting with them. “A few verses from the Rolling Stones song WILD HORSES Childhood living is easy to do / The things / you wanted I bought them for you / Graceless lady you know who I am / You know I cant let you slide through my hands Wild horses couldnt drag me away / Wild, wild horses, couldnt drag me away I watched you suffer a dull aching pain / Now you decided to show me the same / No sweeping exits or offstage lines / Could make me feel bitter or treat you unkind Wild horses couldnt drag me away / Wild, wild horses, couldnt drag me away

Thank you for looking. Horse Stock
This is a composite. The horse is a shot I took, with my Canon Rebel XT, of a Friesian stallion named Leo, owned by Stefanie Maas of Cave Creek, Arizona. The texture background is by dknucklesstock. I added more textures with brushes in PS, over the horse and in various places, using layers, to integrate the horse into the setting better and to give it a aged, grungy look.
Cherish The Moments Cherish the moments that life has to give / So you can remember as long as you live. / Memories are all that shall ever remain, / Of moments of life you can never regain Children, your family, friends that you knew, / Will grow up or away and bid you adieu. / Nothing’s forever, not written in stone, / The past is behind you, tomorrow’s unknown So capture today, take THIS moment, NOW, / This may be all the fates may allow. / Hold close to your heart, those moments of love, / And cherish them all as a gift from above Beatrice Boyle My Connemara Sport Horse babies ‘Seven’ and his big sister ‘Sionnain’ share a quiet moment Layered and textured in PS Elements 6….
