While travelling in Romania I met a mysterious woman whose wild azure eyes burned right through my skull. She told me of a crazy party at a secret club that was on that night. / It happened once a year and was only known to a select few. I asked where it was so she drew a map on my hand and told me to meet her there at 12am. / I turned up a bit early and the club was shut, quiet as a graveyard on a winters night. / So I went back to my hotel and read a book.

Every now and then I like to “step outside” my boundary of usual subject matter and do something really different. This is one of those images. Captured outside the town of Central City, Colorado, I happened by this scene by luck, along with the other 2 cemeteries close by it. Long closed, these are the real deal “wild west’ cemeteries, long forgotten, long not seen. Looking like a scene out of the movie “Pale Rider”.....I had to photograph it. The ruts in the ground were still visible from where the old wagons used to carry the bodies up from the town. Quite an amazing place…. / Thoughts welcomed! —-John —-—-—-—-—-—-— / More of my work can be seen on my website at http://jdebordphoto.com / All artwork is © John De Bord, All Rights Reserved. Again the old General Hospital… / / It was built in 1897 and was home to Newfoundlands first operating room. The hospital has been closed and condemed for many many years now. Rumor has it that many dark and hideous things were done behind its doors, things that are better left forgotten… Only memories are left now that can haunt its dark and terrifying hallways. / / Cinderellas wicked step sisters would be in their glory having her scrub these floors. / / Another view of the Old General / / / / / / / / / / / / / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography / /

A horror piece inspired by the multitude of atrocities man/woman inflicts upon him/herself and the rest of the world for personal gain, and in a lot of cases just for the hell of it.

Samara, possessor of extraordinarily creepy hair and inhabitant of dank wells. Remember, you’ve got a week after you’ve watched the video, while the dvd version apears to only be cursed on the Slovakian dub. Continuing in the vein of my previous creature tee’s.
