  • Another fun shirt. Well, I guess that depends on you – how often you wash yourself or the t-shirt. Either way, this should shock or amuse…..

  • Just in case people claim they weren’t warned – now you can make sure that they were.

  • Another version of my eye with a much more dramatic effect – spooky!

  • When I was very young I was a fanatic for horror movies. I thought any movie with Vincent Price, Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee had the most horrifying beings in them and that all of these movies should have won Oscars. Yes I was the little kid who went to bed with my sheet covering my entire body and truly believing it would protect me from the monsters. When I turned into a pre-teen I loved all of the Italian and Spanish, horror movies. I was so engrossed in these movies that the sub-tiled ones never bothered me. These horrifying beings were a little bit more horrific. Yes I still covered my body from head to toe to protect me from evil. When I became a “know it all” teen, I still loved horror movies but I noticed these horrifying beings were even more shocking, sickening and ghastly. But I was still first in line to see Freddy Kruger, Michael Myers and the rest. Ok I still covered my entire body with my sheet at night. I still had hope that it would protect me from the ghastly horrors. But now I am an adult and realize those past horrifying beings were nothing compared to the most gruesome beings/monsters. These beings/monsters torture babies, children, women and men. Some even have the law on their side. They live amongst us. They say hello to us as though they have never done anything wrong. They are part of us. They are the inhuman part of the human race. I no longer cover my body from head to toe with my sheet at night, but I wish I had a sheet to cover this planet and protect us all from cruelty, brutality, ruthlessness and heartlessness. Now that would be a sheet I would die for.

  • THIS WAS A PART OF A SERIES OF STUDY ING,OF EMOTIONS, IN FIGURE DRAWING AT THE ACADEMY OF ART IN SAN FRANCISCO

  • Born into one of New Orleans’ oldest and most venerable families, Eugenia Planchette was no ordinary Southern belle. No matter how many governesses informed her that methodically dissecting crawdaddies and baby alligators was NOT ladylike behavior, little Eugenia would not be deterred. Despite her indelicate hobbies, Eugenia grew up to be an uncommonly fetching young lady, so if she was a trifle vain, who could blame her? She was certainly at no loss for suitors when she took up her studies at Tulane (medical school, of course), and her grades seemed impervious to her habit of dancing the nights away in the French Quarters’ most notorious nightclubs. Perhaps it was at one of these that she inadvertently insulted a voodoo priestess or just irked one of her more chemistry-minded classmates, but someone spiked her absinthe with something that caused an inexorable descent into madness. As far as the good doctors could tell, she became convinced that the best way to preserve her youthful appearance would be to remove her face and keep it in the icebox, only to be used when she really “needed” it, and apparently that is exactly what she did. Although the results would have made her a useful instructable for an anatomy class and certainly a pertinent case study in psychiatry, her surgical adventure, needless to say, ended her medical career. What Eugenia lacked in practicality she made up for in execution, however, and in truth the Face (as it came to be called) held up quite well. Eugenia and her removable face are pictured here in her parlor while her astonished cat, Poutine, looks on. This original artwork and story are copyright Ramona Szczerba 2008. • I put my heart and soul into this. It was more or less simbolic of what was me as a child emerging from pain. From an abusive childhood that i can’t bring myself to describe without feeling numb and bewildered to this day. i made this…. doll thing, it’s parts glewed together with barbed wire i made, on a painted canvas. Original artwork still in my possession. The dark style and structure of this piece encourage the feel of being trapped in a nightmare for its audience. If you find this piece appealing you might enjoy artists such as- /

  • Found object art. This piece is all about how ppl see you. Being or atleast looking different in a small town stirs attention and reaction. I am comfortable with the way i look feel and act. But there are ppl who can’t wrap their narro minds around originality. or thinking differently. or seeing things differently. People judge and they lable, or discreadit you for being you. This is a piece for all of you who think out side of the box. What you interperate from this piece is yours and yours alone.

  • Collage on paper. i started doing art again after what seemed like 4 years of just nothing and horable situations. i came back, and i went waaay overboard on this one. i tryed to smash 4 years of angst into a 4×2 piece of paper. i shoved safty pens and gleued broken glass to this. there are words strung about all over the place describing feelings of hoplessness, rejection and a loss of ground. the glare on this picture is anoying. sorry for that. i had to work with what i was given.

  • This is how this piece looks in the dark. i wired it with tiny LED lights wrapping down it’s hands and coming through the face and out one of it’s eyes. / crawling in the dark This is how looks in the dark. It’s wired with lights, powered by 2 AA batteries. Original artwork still in my possession.

I am so pleased – another sale of my Beware of the Photographer t-shirt. It’s one of my favourites, not least because I know that the wearer is not just buying and wearing it on a whim but because they are proud of their photography and obviously devoted to it. That’s good to know because the photographic arts are something to be proud of. A huge thank you to the buyer of this – in fact to all the buyers of it.
