This is the cover for the Chinese zodiac, aka astrology and or horoscope. / Each individual symbol is made of silver and amber. The border of the design is a macro shot of a gemstone called chinese writing rock, and the center of the Bagua is a shot of the stone hematite.

Making birth horoscopes used to be a big hobby of mine. Nowadays I’m not so much into the ‘making’ part anymore but I still love to paint them though :-) Here’s one of my zodiak series (original sizes are about 15×20 cm – acryllic and ink on paper). Aries (March 21 – April 19)
