This is sunrise on Saganshkee Slough. It’s a 325 acre lake that is very shallow and mediocre to poor for fishing. It is located in southern Cook County in northern Illinois. However, since it is about a mile and a half long (2.4 km), it gives a nice long view of the lake at sunrise or sunset.
