Taken at Half Moon Bay, Black Rock Victoria just before a storm front hit the beach.
Carved By Nature’s Wrath / The 12 Apostles, Victoria Following a day of torrential rain and gale force winds, the sun shone momentarily, lighting up the moody sky, before plunging the rugged coastline into complete darkness. As night falls, a solitary waterfall is all that remains of the passing storms, returning the much needed rain to the swollen seas of the shipwreck coast. This was taken near Clare, two hours north of Adelaide, South Australia, on New Year’s Eve. The colours depicted a hot summer and a perfect end to that year. The power lines drew my eye to the distance and in a sense to the future, and all that it held. This was taken using a Canon DSLR EOS 350D. This shot was featured in the Simple by Design Group.

This is one of my favorite shots taken during a camping venture to Carolina Beach. The trip was specifically planned to wake up early and take picture of the beautiful sunrise. I had no idea the pictures would turn out so gorgeous. I cannot wait to return to attempt to once again capture the beauty and splendor of the sunrise over the ocean. The beach is like my second home, it’s my place to get away, relax, and reflect on life. Media: Photography / Camera used: Fujifilm Finepix Z10fd / Editing software used: picnik.com
