  Tracy with Fanny ferret. Can’t really say why I like this photo so much, I just do. I think it is because we appear to be admiring the same thing. She sat there quite happily for a little while until she started to eat my ear. Fanny is a much loved and rescued ferret with a bad biting habit and very sharp teeth who would have spent her whole life in a cage untouched by human hands and unloved had I not taken her home. She still does not like to be picked up and she still bites, but she loves human interaction and her outings and we now have a mutual understanding and respect for each other. I miss not having the experience of a tiny baby ferret in the house, but all 3 of my ferrets are rescued ferrets as adult ferrets, no matter what their nature, are very difficult to rehouse. My newest ferret Baba came to me after her family moved to Queensland where ferrets are illegal. She is 2 years old and much sweeter.

  I DIDN’T WANT TO….

  THIS IS MY FIRST TIME EVER…ON-LINE / THE TRIGGER FOR WRITING THIS WAS THE SHEER EMOTIONALITY OF WATCHING MICHAEL JACKSON’S REMEMBRANCE ‘LIVE’. THERE WERE SO MANY DIFFERENT TYPES OF EMOTIONS AT SO MANY LEVELS THAT I SUDDENLY FELT AS THOUGH I WAS HAVING AN OUT OF BODY EXPERIENCE. THE THOUGHT SUDDENLY INTRUDED, WHAT WITH THE SURREAL AND BIZARRE NATURE OF MICHAEL JACKSON THROUGHOUT HIS LIFE, IT WOULD NOT SURPRISE ME IF HIS FAMILY HAD TAKEN PROTECTIVE CUSTODY OF HIS BODY TO MAKE SURE NO-ONE TOOK OFF WITH IT. I REMEMBERED THE URBAN MYTH SURROUNDING THE MOONLANDING – BY CONSPIRACY THEORISTS. MY IMAGININGS BROKE ME UP COMPLETELY. IT WAS A WONDERFUL AND TERRIBLE IMAGE. THANKS FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY TO SHARE THESE THOUGHTS WITH YOU…..LYN BINER
