  • Me and my buddy Chris walked for two days from Mallacoota in Victoria’s far east to get to this spot which is Cape Howe the coastal border between NSW and Victoria in Australia. Smack bang on the border is the shipwreck of the Iron Prince and a rapidly deteriorating border cairn. The area is surrounded by a flat dune field with a sea revealed rocky base. To our surprise there was quite a vigourous little spring nearby which if we realised how bad our water situation would be over the next few days we would of taken more advantage of. With all this at hand it was an obvious spot for an early lunch, while packing this up I finally noticed more of the macro landscape of our spot. ‘Honeycomb’ is a photo of the rock I sat on while eating my lunch. • Here’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a while. A little while ago I thought it would be cool to make a shirt with words where the letters were made up from the periodic table of elements. Took me a looong time to figure out how I wanted to do that, until now! SO I hope you like how it turned out!

  • Entomologists are studying the reasons behind an enormous bee die off happening across the country. They call it Colony Collapse Disorder, and if they cannot find a solution the 80% of fruits and vegetables that require pollination may not make it to market. The cause appears to be related to diseases from pesticides, but no one is certain. card matted print laminated mounted canvas framed poster rb redbubble honey bee varroa virus insect wing hive swarm honeycomb grub

  • This a shot I took of Norita…trying to emulate the old Hollywood Flash bulbs…you know the screw in one they used in the movies. You could use a ring flash I thought…but then decided to use the studio flash instead…so the best way, is to use 2 lights directly in front of the model and then the camera on remote in front of the lights. So we have a 100 cm softbox set on say f8 and a flash head with mid range honeycomb in front set on f10/11.. the camera is positioned in the same plane just under the honeycomb…have I lost you yet. Then you squeeze in and frame the shot through the viewfinder…step back and use the remote. Sorry to be boring…but I think I got the desired effect!
